THIS IS ACTUALLY FOR COX BUSINESS IN KANSAS. SINCE STARTING THE SERVICES, IT NEVER REACHED THE MPBS I'M PAYING FOR. BUSINESS MEETINGS DROPPED, VIDEO CALLS WITH THE FAMILY DROPPED, SLOW CONNECTION HARD WIRED OR WI-FI. SLOW NAVIGATION WITH ANY MEDIA AND I'M ONLY 5 FEET FROM THE MODEM/ROUTER. I HAVE SPENT DAYS TRYING TO GET TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO FIX THE ISSUES AND ALL I HAVE IS SOMEONE IN TECH SUPPORT TELLING TO GO TO BEST BUY AND GET A NEW ROUTER/MODEM BECAUSE WHAT THE GAVE ME IS A NETWORK 5 WHILE MY COMPUTER ARE 6 AND 7. HER ALSO SAID THAT RESIDENTIAL HAS BEEN UPDATED. I HAVE TESTED EVERYDAY AND ALL I HAVE ARE SPEEDS OF 21.0/15.0. I'M QUALIFIED TO LEAVE THIS CONTRACT AND NOT BE PENALIZED FOR BUT THEY SAY I'M NOT. I EVEN LOST BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE. I'M TIRED AND WILL NOT PAY THESE SCAMMERS. I JUST HOPE THIS REACHES AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE SO NO ONE ELSE WILL GO THROUGH WHAT I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH WITH COX BUSINESS AND THEY WILL LOOSE BUSINESS. I JUST HOPE THEY TAKE ME OUT OF MY MISERY. I WANT OUT! I'LL MAKE THIS A MISSION. MY NEXT STEPS WILL BE BBB, GOOGLE REVIEW, AND LOCAL NEWS. PERHAPS COURT OF LAW. PLEASE... PLEASE... I BEG YOU, STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, THE TECHNICIANS ARE IMCOMPETENT, AND THEY HAVE A MONOPOLY WHERE THERE'S NOTHING ELSE WITH A FIXED IP SO THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND NEVER CARE FOR YOUR CONCERNS.

False claims of fixing an issue with an "outage" that they originally denied the existence of and then throttle you down to less than a mb/s after fixing it (why do we pay you people extra for unlimited data limits again)edit: oh yes and let me add in paying close to $200 for 500 bytes not kb not mb just bytes per second if they ain't fixed it soon considering legal action

Had the worst customer experience ever and I know that if this doesn't get fixed. I will make sure to let everyone know. about how they only care about getting paid. rather than providing good customer service. I mean even t mobile is more affordable than that price.

Business owners beware -- Cox sales reps will promise you services and benefits they do not honor. We were told our phone system for our multi-location business would have the same contract term for each location. This way if we wanted to switch to a different phone provider we could easily switch without having to have different phone systems at each location.We have exchanged emails with their supervisor, Steve Egan, for over 6 months and he still will not respond to our questions. He'll often go a month without responding and we have to continually follow up with him to get a response. When he does respond, he doesn't answer the questions. He apologizes, takes you to lunch, but never actually does anything.At the end of the day, Cox and Steve only care about locking the client into a long contract that they can't get out of. We've had a terrible experience with Cox and I'd recommend any business owner consider a different phone service provider. You'll just get the runaround at Cox.

Such horrible customer service and wifi service. I pay $83 a month, I work full time and go to school. I come home from working a 10 hour shift dreading the homework that I have to finish, just to find out that my wifi is under maintenance for 6 hours. I have deadlines, could you at least give a heads up for scheduled work events? Not to mention the pain of moving it is with cox, it’s free if you connect everything yourself but you never can. So you call and end up paying $100 service charge even though you’ve been paying them a monthly payment. I can’t stand cox, I am a salaried employee, where I’m required to work from home at any minute, and cox has significantly hurt my work performance. I’m taking 12 credit hours while I work, and my grades have suffered because of their flimsy service. Their company name fits them perfectly.

6-months later, still hasn’t ported anything over and been charging us every month without providing the service. I’m seeking a lawyer for that! Shame on you Cox!

Signed up last week at 39.99 for 12 months and was pleased to see that I could get a $30 federal credit. I received my first bill today… $80.74 ... does anyone have a calculator?What’s really sketchy is that the $30 government money was reflected on my pdf statement but not on the amount due. COX wouldn’t be collecting federal funds and double billing their customers, would they!?Customer service changed the bill to $39.99, which is what I expected to pay originally. But they gave me the number to call for the office that handles this “affordable connectivity program” for no apparent reason. I did call and they confirmed that I had been signed up for that program. So, certainly looks like Cox is attempting to collect that amount twice.

I have been a customer since 2019, pay 220.63 a month, auto draft. My service stopped early morning on 8-4-23 and on 8-11-23 in early afternoon. It equaled about a days service. Called in to get adjustment on my bill and was told I would get adjustment of 6.91. I calculated and should receive 7.35. Asked to speak to supervisor and told I would be told the same. Would not transfer me. Finding a different provider if this is how they treat so-called valued customers.

Rude customer service been hung up on multiple times. Can't get service to my house but the 4 houses around me can. They canceled my work order and can't find it in the system. If there was any other option in my area I'd take it over them any day.

The most willfully incompetent and dishonest service in Wichita. There are great alternatives. Cellular based internet to your home and google TV. Cox needs to suffer and go bankrupt for defrauding customers and offering terrible service for 30+ years.

Internet sporadically disconnects frequently. Cox charged me $75 to come out and look at it. Didn't fix the issue. Over the phone said it was most likely my device, even though I told them it was all devices simultaneous losing connection. Ping is inconsistent and makes for a bad gaming experience. They also have a monthly data cap.

Awful service, by phone and they lie with promotions so you make the contract. They take advantage of the customers. They cant be worst.

Zero stars honestly. I've moved with the same modem 3 times and after I moved they removed it from my account and made it only work at my last address then made me sit on the phone for hours just after telling me they could transfer and activate it over the phone. Cox is a joke.
