I was absolutely blown away by the customer service and the experience I received on my first visit to the Factory Direct Mattress store. Josh Rowley went above and beyond today, and that’s an understatement. He helped us explore multiple options before quickly finding a solution to accommodate our needs. His willingness to find a solution and right that second make it happen was just beyond comparison. Offered us a fair deal and even delivered our mattress and frame that same day within minutes of us finishing! An awesome family owned business. Great products and outstanding customer service. These guys really care. I would highly recommend shopping here!

SUMMARY: I regret my decision to purchase an online mattress brand from a local vendor. Elements of my experience were good. However, not being able to return a new mattress, during the standard return window, and for a full refund was extremely disappointing. There are elements of my situation that may not apply to your purchase experience. Regardless, I will not shop here again nor recommend this business to others.
BACKGROUND: I purchased a Nectar Queen-sized mattress here in November 2024. The owner Josh was helpful and courteous during mattress selection. Since the mattress I wanted was out of stock, he placed a replenishment order for it on Nov 22nd. The mattress did not arrive in Wichita until 12/13. Josh provided free dropoff of the boxed mattress to my front porch. By Jan 11, 2025, my wife and I determined we didn't want to keep the mattress and reached out to Josh to return it under the standard return window. Josh notified us that his business's contract with Nectar was managed by Ashley Home Store and that Ashley had just pulled his Nectar contract. As a result, he would not accept a return but would instead provide store credit for an in-store replacement to one of the other brands he represents. Since the mattress brand we wanted (Purple) was not one he carries, we parted ways and were left with a mattress we won't use.
OPINIONS: As the customer, my relationship is with Factory Direct Mattress. It should not subject to the whim's of their vendor contracts. I left this commercial exchange feeling punished for choosing to support a local small business. If I had chosen to purchase this mattress online, I would have been fully protected during the normal sleep trial phase and had my return/refund request honored.

I have been buying mattress from Josh & his family for a few years now, they are the nicest family! Each time I have bought a mattress from Josh, it’s always such an easy & relaxing experience. You get excellent quality mattresses for an affordable great price! I will forever recommend Factory Direct Mattress to everyone! :)

We almost bought from someone else and noticed negative reviews so we decided to buy here and the experience was exceptional. Josh knew everything about all of the mattresses, answered all my questions, and we didnt feel pressured to spend more than we wanted. I will 100% recommend him to anyone i know looking for mattresses.

Nike has a great slogan JUST DO IT. If you are looking for a mattress just do it, go into this family owned store and check them out. Josh and his dad are great to work with. Very helpful and knowledgeable, and fair prices. We bought the Dreamcloud and adjustable base. They delivered it that evening and could not be happier. Thanks to both of you.

Josh and his Dad are 2 fantastic people. Very kind and personable. They delivered my mattress and frame the same day that I called. So nice to have a new Dream Cloud mattress and adjustable bed frame after sleeping on an old mattress and broken bed frame for way to long. Looking forward to enjoying my new bed.
