The Kansas Aviation Museum is Wichita's first municipal airport turned into a historical museum and a one of a kind venue space for weddings, holiday events, and birthday parties. It is a favorite field trip location for local schools and a hidden gem of aviation history. The venue provides a beautiful, quaint, and intimate setting for concerts and experiences like the Candlelight series, with a great ambiance and easy parking. Guests highlight that it is an amazing and fantastic experience, with a beautiful venue that never feels crowded. The staff and volunteers are amazing and helpful. It is a place where kids have a blast seeing all the planes, looking for hidden stuffies, and playing on the playground.
What an amazing place I wish we had more places like this in Wichita or across the state of Kansas

Airport is a Grand Old Building with great exhibits telling a great story. Really enjoyed it!

Great museum with Art Deco vibes and lots of cool exhibits! Some planes you can walk through and the control tower offered beautiful views of the air strip and planes on display!
