“After having breakfast at nearby Wild Eggs, we walked a few blocks to Walgreens because we needed to buy some things we forgot to pack on our trip to Cincinnati. The issue is, when we got there, Walgreens was not open. We got her 10 minutes before opening. It was freezing as it was 40 and we were feeling it even with our coats. Thankfully, a store employee let us in a few minutes early. He totally could have let us freeze out there. I really appreciate he let us in. Typical Walgreens in regards to what they have inside. We combed through the aisles and found the items we needed. After paying we quickly went on our way but got a Lyft back to the hotel. Again the guy let us stay in the store until Lyft picked us up.”

“I have to use CVS for my pharmacy because of my insurance. For years I used the one at Anderson Towne Center and was horrified at the horrible service I received from them. They were rude. They would screw up my orders. They would lie to me. They would put me on hold for over half an hour and they took for absolutely forever to get me my prescriptions. I switched to this CVS location and it was night and day. The people here are friendly, efficient and prompt.”

“Wal-Mart. If you really need a review of Wal-Mart, chances are you've been living in a cave your entire life. This particular Wal-Mart is just like any other. Full grocery, clothes section for men, women, and children, electronics, beauty products, books, cards, hardware, toys, sporting goods...just like every other Wal-Mart. If you enter through the left, there is a Subway in the store. There is also a nail salon, optical service and store, tax preparation, and a few other specialty shops. Like most Wal-Marts, there are about thirty registers, with only about five open at any given time. Wal-Mart for some strange reason still hasn't jumped on board the U-Scan bandwagon, which is a bit irritating. But then again, Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world...well, at least in the country, so why should they waste money on U-Scans? Prices are what you expect to find in a Wal-Mart (cheap and affordable). Staff is usually very bored and phoning it in. But of course the best part of going to Wal-Mart, is checking out your fellow customers. If you're ever feeling down about yourself, just head to the nearest Wal-Mart and look around. After watching some of those people, you will leave the store feeling better about your life. Mahalo, and enjoy.”
