“A big shout out to Independence Kroger. After the mad house it’s been everyone preparing for the winter storm, I was up that way around 9:00 tonight and really didn’t think they would be open, nothing was open anywhere except UDF. I went in to get a couple things and to see a couple friendly faces. Everyone was working so hard. The shelves were all stocked full. The store looked so clean and not a cart in the parking lot anywhere. Thanks to all you workers who was there in the middle of an ice storm and bitter temperatures. God Bless you all and I pray you make it home safely. You all deserve a raise.”
“Its a grocery store for sure. I mean I have certainly been to many a grocery store in my life and this is absolutely one of them. I mean, I've even been to multiple other Kroger locations and this is still one of them. Simply credible. My only complaint is that this location no longer carries Pepsi Nitro and I wanted to try it. Oh well, that's just how it goes.”
“The staff at Walgreen's locally here in Independence does a great job consistently when I have to reach out to them to clarify a refill or other technical question. Staff is always pleasant and accommodating. It helps to have this type of customer service knowing how busy they are at times. Their reorder of prescriptions is helpful as well.”

“Great selection of liquor and beer. Was kind of sad to not find a good selection of mixers, I suppose they expect you to go next door to the full store. They did have some basics like soda and juice but not much for energy drinks.”
