Hometown INN is a clean, comfortable, and no-frills place to stay at an excellent price. The rooms are roomy, spotless, and very clean, with laminate floors, comfortable beds, and pristine white sheets. The hotel is quiet, safe, and gives a homelike Kentucky feel. Owners are very friendly, take pride in their motel, and are right on it if something needs attention. They have been fixing up and renovating the property, offering a warm and personal welcome. The place is calm and peaceful, with plentiful parking. It is a hassle-free and cozy stay, with lots of hot water and everything needed. While they do not include breakfast, the price is a decent trade-off compared to other hotels, being much nicer than some and on par with others for less money. The reservation desk is very kind, providing unusually excellent service. During local festivals the place fills up quickly, so calling for a reservation is recommended. For a clean, comfortable, and safe stay, many guests highly recommend Hometown INN and plan to return.
Excellent price for a room! Hotel was clean, lots of hot water and reservation desk very kind. We left an item behind and was able to retrieve it 5 days later! It had been found and set aside for us. That’s unusually excellent service! Kindness counts!

My cousin and I stayed there last month. I will admit because of all the remodeling, and the price, I was sceptical. I don't think I have had a warmer, and personal welcome by owners anywhere. I definitely will stay there if I ever go back to Berea.

We passed through Berea on our way to the Smokies. Great price! Friendly host, new owners that have been working non stop on the property since we arrived. New cosmetics, cozy bed, large mini fridge. Cable tv and wifi included. The bathroom could be cleaner. I would return again in the future.
