Mayb 1 day they'll find another spot near Scottsville Rd & get busier. Think they'd do better even by Rose's or the old mall where Big Lots used to b.”

“Wow!!!! Pop Shelf is not your average Dollar General. I would give it 10 stars. I spent a bit over 100 bucks, a lot of money for a cheaper like me. I got 6 Martha Stewart Collection bowls, 6 Bombay company baskets, 9 vases of various colors. 3 apothecary jars with lids,, a really cool canister, a glass measuring cup with lid and a bunch of other decor items. It’s like a Dollar store on steroids! ❤️”

“No matter which Dollar General I stop at I always get excellent service. Do have a problem with the main corporation who keeps taking stuff out of there stores. Loved all the white coated wire racks. They had a wonderful selection and discontinued them all”
“I live closer to another Dollar General Store, but I choose to shop at the East 6th Street location because the young male manager and his assistants keep the store clean, neat and orderly, the store offers hard-to-find merchandise such as Tiger Balm, and because of the courteous cashiers such as Brittany, who treat everyone with kindness and patience. 10,000 STARS!”
“I like that we have a DG close to home. Sometimes I can score pretty good deals on things. There are certain groceries that are expensive but a lot are reasonable. The aisles are narrow and packed pretty full but there's stuff waiting to be put on shelves just out... the employees are hit n miss with their level of niceness.”
“Went in today to grab a few things alot , of the shelves and refrigerated cases were empty.no bread either.boxes of unpacked merchandise on the sales floor.I gave up and went to Kroger.”
“Very clean and well organized store. There was a young man out on the floor stocking that made sure to speak and offer assistance. I asked him of they had any empty spray bottles and he said "yes ma'am, follow me and I will show you". I absolutely love the fact he walked me to that item instead of telling me where it was located. The cashier that checked us out was very polite, friendly, and fast! I will definitely be back to visit this store.”

“I just wanted to leave a review on how great this dollar general looks! I usually hate going into dollar general because you can’t make it down a isle way due to the floors being full of stock that has pulled off the shelves or the truck just not being put away..the floors are just dirty it’s ridiculous and nothing is organized but this specific one looks great! Absolutely nothing was in the floors or blocking isle ways..the staff was friendly and everything was where it was supposed to be! They need more managers like this one at the other stores in Bowling Green!”
“This is my go-to place. The store is outdated, and selection can be limited, but the merchandise quality isn't much different than other discount stores. People who complain about their customer service should work retail - especially when the pay is low and people aren't applying for jobs.”

“They carry an incredible variety. I usually walk in expecting to spend about $10 and leave with about $40 worth of stuff. On my last visit they had an item that I've been looking for for a year. I couldn't find it online or otherwise. It was staring at me when I walked in the door. Very amicable atmosphere.”
