“The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even let us and the kids pet and play with some of their store pets.Prices are a bit high but not a ton of local options. We left with what we came for, a Sulcata Tortoise.”

“This place has a little of everything. Birds, cats, dogs, reptiles, you name it and they probably have it. I did not like that the cat they had roaming around was sitting on the counter when I went to check out. I asked if it was friendly and was told yes, only for it to bite me when I went to rub it. Maybe they should keep their animals in a cage if they aren't the best customer friendly animals. Bad representation of the store.”
“I ordered a Skil electric screwdriver and some cat food for pickup. It was much cheaper here than anywhere else and the process was so simple, not to mention very friendly employees!”
“The aquariums with live fish to purchase were much smaller than I encountered at several other pet smarts. Was disappointed in substrate selection , and aquarium chemicals as well. But very clean and lots of people offered help and wanted me to order online, but that's not always an option.”
“Brittany is always super helpful! Very knowledgeable for any questions I’ve had and runs the fish department very well. When it comes to live fish I wouldn’t buy them anywhere else in town.”

“After loving several fur babies over the years I had made the decision to have no more — until a little cat (it seemed to be very tiny and other cats were attacking it). My heart went into action to protect this small cat. Then one morning she presented a kitten on my doormat. I was astonished. Surely this wasn’t hers? But it was. The next morning she brought another very healthy little kitten to the doormat. Long story short, the BG Humane Society accepted the two kittens once weaned (after my tears dried) and I made the decision to keep the little Momma, presently named “Itsy” due to her size. BUT….the most caring acts came from the BG Humane Society where they spayed, gave my Itsy all her shots, put a chip in her, and loved her until she returned home. My cost: $0.00
