“This place is the best. I went in thinking I was just going to buy a pair of shoes but Patrick had me try on several pairs and then run in them to see which fit my running needs best. He also helped me with some running form tips (I’m pretty new to running). I just had an injury recently and he recommended I see his partner Jeff, who is a physical therapist. Jeff talked with me about my injury, recorded me running, and gave me some tips for how to recover more quickly. I left with lots of expert tips about my form and injuries, an invitation to join their running club, and a great new pair of running shoes that should help minimize future injuries— all for the same price as the shoe Nat’s.”

It used to be they would come around and assist, but now most of the time you have to ask for assistance.They do, however have a good selection of all kinds of shoes. They do have some reduced prices, and overall they are competitive.I got some great walking shoes, but didn't get another pair I liked because they didn't have my size, although they could be ordered. “As others have said, they have quality options, including boots you won’t find in most bigger stores (like the Redwing Heritage brand).The staff are friendly and helpful: I especially appreciated David taking time with me to find the right fit, pun intended. I typically have a terrible time shoe shopping, mostly in finding a good fit or size, but he helped me navigate all that and arrive at a solution in very pleased with as my daily. So much so that I’m considering buying another pair to alternate to extend their lives.I haven’t done much price checking against Amazon or others, but I see value in a family business that contributes to my local economy, and in having a physical store where I can try on the product with guidance if needed. Especially when the product impacts my life so much.In the end, I had a good experience, I found boots that fit well, handle work, hiking, and casual, are much better on my feet and my health, and that have returned a lot of value already after a few weeks.”

She was incredibly knowledgeable. She set me up with the exact right shoes and inserts. I wore those shoes out of the store, and was on my feet all day. My feet have never felt better. I did not want to take them off when it was time to go to bed. I have found my new shoe store! Highly recommend!”
