The Western Hills Motel is very near WKU and within walking distance of gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores. Some guests love the service, location, and staff, describing it as a roof over your head. However, it is not the safest place and is definitely not family friendly due to issues with drugs and sex trafficking that management is aware of. Problems include rooms smelling like weed, stopped-up toilets, black mold, holes in ceilings, and unsafe electrical rigging. Management is described as very disrespectful, charging visitor fees and refusing to fix major issues.
