“I just moved here from Lexington and had to put down my 14-year-old Frenchie, Sweet Pea. The doctor explained the whole process to me, let me take my time with her, as well as allowed me to be there until her very end. The team was highly empathetic and supportive. I even got a condolence card afterwards, which was very touching to me since I had not told many people about her passing. I have two other dogs and three cats, and I plan on continuing with their services for all my pets going forward. I highly recommend this veterinarian.”

“I was blown away at how wonderful everyone at this practice was when I brought our dogs there today. We have 2 rescues, 1 being a very large Cane Corso, as well as a Pug with health issues. Everyone we encountered was kind, knowledgable, and made our visit as seamless as possible. The veterinarian was thorough and put the dogs at ease. I have owned dogs for over 15 years, and I have never had a vet take the time to show and explain things the way he did today. The techs that assisted him were excellent as well. Their pricing is very fair. We are so grateful to have found them! We give them our highest recommendation.”

“I have been going to this vet for a couple years now. I genuinely love the people that work here and have had the best experience! I won't deny, there was a time when I first started going that I got hassled for an overweight cat (but realistically, after taking a step back, I understand this is coming from a place of care & I wouldn't want my cat to have irreversible health issues because I wasn't well informed). BUT, I always feel listened to and feel like these people truly care about my pets as much as I do. They can be kind of expensive (most vets are tho) but I feel like it's worth the price because they go the extra mile. For example, I took one of my fur babies the other day for suspicious behavior and they've called me two days in a row to check on her. Love this place and their staff! “I've been pleased with Pewee Valley Vet Center, they have been great with both of my dogs and seem to really care about my questions.
Only thing I dislike, is that I don't get to see the dr when they are checking out my dog on our annual physical and shots and that's the only thing that I don't like.
However, with the many questions and concerns I had on my last annual, the dr did come talk to me and answered all my questions and concerns about my dogs!!
I would definitely recommend them for your pet!!”

“They took great care of my mom’s small dog Lynard! They also have cute books to read in the waiting rooms. Lynard was a bit dramatic during his nail trim but the vets calmed him down and found the best way to go about it. He got some treats and lots of kisses! Thank you for making it as stress free as possible for us.”

“We had to take our girl to an emergency animal hospital during after hours. At her follow up appointment (which was technically a drop off appointment) the vet came to the front and LISTENED to all of my concerns….even took the time to watch videos I had recorded. Also, the lady at the front desk helped pick out an outfit for my fur baby in between customers. I was really stressed and afraid I was going to lose my girl, but they helped us both that day. “My family has received fur baby care from LaGrange Animal Hospital for nearly 2 decades. In that time, my animals have been attentively cared for. Dr. Sheehan and her staff are amazing!! Our animals have special needs that are so thoughtfully managed by them, with transparency and with well thought out care plans. She’s gone above and beyond on more than one occasion to support complexities with diagnoses and with after care once something has been identified. She’s never pushed us into anything and has always educated us to make informed decisions.
With our travel needs that come frequently, she and the team take my dog in for boarding and love him well while he’s in their care. My dog genuinely gets excited when we pull up and go in! They’re always gracious to accommodate last minute needs and keep us on top of routine stuff that I can see owners otherwise missing. My pets are the healthiest they can be with the cards these rescue animals have been dealt. Dr. Sheehan is highly regarded in the veterinary community of her peers and feel blessed to have her so close to home.”

“We took our cat because she has breathing problems, fluid around her lungs. They took very good care of her and us. They took us in a room to talk everything over, was right there when we had questions and answered them and even gave suggestions. They drained the fluid within a reasonable time and let us sit in a room to wait. They knew it was an emergency and we didn't have to wait to get help. They gave us time to talk to decide what we wanted to do. Everyone there was very nice.”

“We spent most of last summer in Maine. Our flee and tick treated Border Collie was bit several times. They all died. Fast forward 5 months and she is presenting with an enlarged lymph node. Our vet in Florida had no idea. We contacted DVM Townsend and she instructed us to get a tick test. She was spot on and saved Our dogs life. The FL vet had never seen a case of tick disease.
