“Needed eye drops for my wife pre-op for cataract surgery and the Big chain pharmacy (that my insurance provider) uses were out of stock and my wife needed them before the next day. So after calling around the region found out that Smithland Drugs (small town pharmacy) carried them and in stock! Drove about 12 miles and walked in where I was greeted by a very friendly young lady behind the counter who offered her help. After I explained my situation she went back to speak to the pharmacist. She returned and elaborated that their store policy was to obtain a Pre-Approval from the doctor prior to dispensing the drops. Even though they couldn't offer a resolution to my predicament Smithland Drugs was willing and helpful and I would definitely return if my need arises again. KUDOS!”
