“Boyd County Public Library Meeting Room was fantastic! Seated all 40 of guests comfortably, had a kitchen and bathroom area, and plenty of room for decorations. Was well lit, more than enough tables and chairs for everyone and staff never bothered us. Made for an overall amazing baby shower! Well definitely use again and would 10/10 recommend.”
“Was there today. Purchased a few last minute gifts. Small space a bit tight but that’s because they have plenty of items for sale. Clean store, clerks were friendly enough. I never found something I was looking for. I wanted a book on Revelation's, a study aid. But I never found one but I would guess it’s there somewhere. I’ll look again next time I stop.”

“wonderful staff and very personable, knowledgeable, and great to be around been going to ths school for some time and rarely have I had a complaint. I feel listened to and understood. ACTC feels like it has never changed from the time it was opened, in terms of focusing on what a school should do, teach its students, I hear and see things like protesting at other colleges and universities but ACTC has never had that issue from my knowledge.”

“The staff at Boyd County Public Library are genuinely super helpful, which is exactly what you want when you walk in needing something and only halfway understand what you are supposed to be doing, lol. One of the best services they offer is free notary service. Apparently adulthood means endlessly signing important pieces of paper in front of an officially authorized witness, so having that available for free is a huge help. Just call before making the trip to make sure the notary is there that day, since she may not always be in. The library also has individual desks and quiet areas if you need somewhere to study, work, fill out paperwork, or simply think without someone’s phone yelling at you from three feet away. It is a genuinely useful community resource, and the staff make it easy to ask for help without making you feel like a nuisance. Five stars for being helpful, practical, and saving people both money and unnecessary adulting frustration.”
