“The Leapin Lizard provided the perfect space for our wedding. The first floor has an amazingly fun atmosphere perfect for a cocktail hour and ample space for dancing. The second floor offered a more formal space for dinner. Our guest were enamored by the stained glass windows!! Richard was such an easy-going, generous, kind person to coordinate and work with. The bartenders provided by the venue were absolutely amazing and so much fun. There was so much flexibility in using the space, which we didn’t find when inquiring about other venues. I highly recommend this space for any and all events!! I foresee our families hosting many events here in the future!!”
“Held a small networking event here with a catered meal (provided by Delish Dish) and it did not disappoint! Staff was great to work with and the event space was great for up to 20 people, with an ambiance that was complemented by numerous attendees. Highly recommend.”
“My favorite heady shop in Cincinnati. If you're from Columbus, think of it as Cincy's version of Headies Hideout. Beautiful pieces by artists like BCM Glass and Salt Glass. Plenty of pendants that range in price from $15 on up. You're not coming here for $12 glass pipes. Save that for Lefty's or VIP. Come to Terp's for the good stuff.”
“Beautiful museum with a ton of amazing history. This place feels upscale and is a great place for a family outing or a date. There is a cafe there and plenty of parking in the garage .”
“I cannot go into this store without finding something for myself or someone else. Wonderfully curated so nothing is average. It's amazing for gifts!!! Everything there is handmade, which I love. I've gotten clothing, planters, casserole & serving platters, artwork, stickers, journals, cards...so far. There's a small parking lot in back but I find it easier to park on the street, (there's been plenty of room anytime I've gone). It's a must visit for me when I visit Cincinatti. I wish all local shops were this cool & friendly.”
“A cute little gallery that I visit every time I’m in town. Mostly because my mom collects these Tiles made by a local artist that feature Cincinnati landmarks that I will freely admit are awesome. I’ve even found a couple things in there that I liked and got for myself like this cute little ornament of Godzilla attacking Cincinnati. Hilariously I showed it to my girlfriend and she joked that it was the most Me thing she had seen. They also have a cute little shop cat who is an absolute sweetheart.”
“I had a family historical flag framed by Jennifer, and she did an absolutely amazing job. This flag has meant a lot to me for years, and I’ve been wanting to frame it for a long time. Jennifer handled it with such care and attention to detail — the final result exceeded my expectations. I’m incredibly happy with how it turned out and grateful to have trusted it to someone who clearly takes pride in her work. Highly recommend!”

There are quiet spots available in the building for parents to wait during class, if desired. The building is humming with creativity, yet it also feels very calm. I was amazed by how organized everything is. My daughter was always excited to go to class and quickly felt at home there. She commented that she liked that the environment was quiet, so she could focus. We will definitely be taking more classes here!”

“I have been working with the Velvet Cricket for about 5 years. On average, I do about 1000 per month in business with them. James and the other staff go out of their way to be helpful to clients. It does take about 3 months to get money, but the truth is, that is how long the cycle takes. James is very transparent about that. For my money, I am very happy with the cricket and feel they go above and beyond. These other reviewers seem to believe that they have a full understanding of how the business should be run when their understanding is somewhat amateurish.”

“I'm a artist leader to be aka Art Thing & a co-founder of Visionaries and Voices since in 2003 with Bill Ross & Keith Banner. Double Vision was the main annual event of biding auction for every year. Courttney Cooper aka Cincinnatus who does a gigantic Cincinnati map drawings for his own pop culture then do a Oktoberfest chicken dance during in public art show. Courttney & an are both alike brotherhood's cause we're born in Cincinnati. Then some other artists with & without disabilities Kevin White, Neil Dignan, Jennifer Crowe, Sarren Hoffman, Brian Dooley, Katie Hefele, Amy Hayden, Mike G, Dale Jackson, Brian Bitter & Diamond Snowden doing their artwork as well become working together like family. Jenny Hershey aka Zeka was a visual artist who is one of the V+V staff members. The mural of Raymond's legacy done by me, Cedric Michael Cox & Artworks apprentices since back in 2009 is on the left side of V+V building soons when you're heading by on spring grove avenue at Northside.”

“I had a gnarly medical emergency. My class was doing a trip there, but when I arrived, I could barely stand up. I was begging for help when they redirected me to the restroom and made sure to give as many accommodations as they could. Offering me a comfy chair to sit in, water, a bucket to take with me in case I threw up, and wheeling me out in a wheelchair. This was all entirely unplanned as I thought it was just bad cramps. Thanks to them, I made it to the ER safely with my brother. Lovely staff.”

It's a great time!Lots of very talented Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati artists have their art on display here. If you like a piece, buy it and take it home with you!I've been the past four Saturdays in a row and every time there has been several new pieces of art to check out.It is a great way to pass the time as you are waiting to get in the Newport Aquarium. They even have a kid's section where they can make their own art as the parents browse the gallery.”
