“I recently found this building material lumber yard near my house. Dave and the other folks were professional and friendly. They helped me plan my home project and even provided custom wood word for the project. I will definitely recommend them and go back for more of my home improvement needs.”
“Can’t begin to say enough about our positive experience with Tate Builders Supply. Fourteen years ago we visited their show room looking for a fireplace costing $8,000, but the salesman, Tim Duncan, suggested a lower costing brand. It has been just wonderful all these years. Embarrassing we have not had the fireplace serviced until today. Jimmy did a wonderful job. He showed us several things about the fireplace we never knew, like that there are ambient lights in the rear. I highly recommend Tate Building Supply and their employees.”
“***Update 06/17Ken and Pat, two of the men that run the organization, call me and resolved all of my issues.***Original PostI am sure that there are some people that have a good experience here, but I did not.The people that work at the counter and in the warehouse are very friendly and helpful. The people in management on the financial and credit side of the operation are incapable of looking at you as anything more than a number on a screen, specifically Steve Tester. One day I was on my way to pick up coil from them for a job and out of nowhere they told me that I had a months old invoice that supposedly was not paid and locked my account out.I have spent thousands of dollars at this place. I bought a brand new gutter machine from this place. And then one day they decide to treat me and speak to me like I’m a criminal because of an oversight on their end.My last conversation was with the branch manager of the Loveland operation Keith. Upon explaining the situation to Keith his response was that he didn’t think we were a good fit for each other, which I agreed with.At no point did anyone from Marsh accept responsibility for the issue. Their only response was locking out my account and demanding that I stop everything and tend the an issue caused by an oversight on their end.Again, the people that work the counter (DJ, Cowan, Brenda, and more) and in the warehouse (I cannot remember any names) were very helpful and provided great customer service, as well as the guys who deliver gutter. As long as they don’t pull an invoice out of a file from a month ago and claim you didn’t pay for it you may have a good experience here.”
“Amazing store. A DIYer's dream! Tons of amazing doors, windows, furniture, tools, lumber, huge space filled with goodies. Very good prices on high quality items. All the employees are so nice and helpful. I had a heavy item delivered, they arrived on time and were professional and nice. I'll be back for my future projects!”
“We built a house in the Florida panhandle last year and worked with Dana. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She sat down with us and helped us plan out our kitchen, complete with elevations, in an afternoon. She was quick to make adjustments/changes as necessary, and she was with us every step of the way. Dana is very knowledgeable about the cabinet business, and no small detail goes unnoticed by her. She made several visits to the job site, making sure all of the measurements were correct. She worked hand in hand with our builder, and he only had positive things to say as well. Our home was finished a year ago, but Dana continues to be responsive to us and never makes us feel like we are a bother. It is so nice to work with someone who takes pride in their work and will see a project through. We love our beautiful cabinets and are so happy with our decisions.”
“I had to return some extra building materials. I checked on the web site & it said they closed at 4:00 p.m when, I got to my destination at 3:39 the hours on the door said they closed at 3:30. I walked between the buildings & found a worker who made a call & had the front open back up & help me out (Huge Thanks to that man.) I apologized for not getting there in time & made reference to the web site time, he said they have tried to get Google to change that & they haven't closed at 4:00 p.m. in like 5 years. Google please make the necessary changes for this company so customers don't get mad at them. Again thank you for opening back up for me & making it possible for me not to have to make a second trip.”

“I waffled between lugging 45 sheets of drywall into the basement by myself or having it delivered. I ended up choosing M & M and was met with great service from ordering to delivery. The delivery was especially impressive with two guys traversing a wet slope to get everything into my basement. To say they crushed it would be an understatement.”

“upon arrival they had me back inside the building to get unloaded. Might have been due to the weather. Unloading was a bit slow as they were being super super careful with the A-frame racks of granite. Nice personnel”
“Sales person was very knowledgeable with the stains that we need to use on our deck and in the proper way to clean it before we start. Would refer them to anybody.”
“Couldn't be happier with my experience with Hyde Park Lumber. The Ladies in the kitchen area have a long history and vast knowledge of kitchen planning. I have never been disappointed with anything purchased here and have always gotten excellent customer service from the gentlemen at the counter and product being loaded from the warehouse. It's a family owned business who treats you like family.”

“After reading some of the reviews about waiting for hours to be unload I was a bit skeptical. My appointment was for 10:00 AM and I arrived at 9:50. Within 10 minutes I was checked in and instructed where to park and un-tarp. Shortly after I was unloaded and sent on my way. I have no complaints.”
“TRUCKERS DO NOT FOLLOW GPS. Turn onto Howard Lintzler from KY17. Go under the train bridge (clearance is OK). Take the first left past the train bridge onto Boron. Go to the stop sign, turn left onto 43rd. Go under another train bridge (again, clearance is OK) and Kelly Bros' driveway is on the right”
