“I love the idea of a plant shop in my College Hill neighborhood, so I just had to check this one out. I love the location -- a refurbished gas station, where they can open up the garage door and basically become a patio in warm weather. And I disagree with a previous Yelp post -- this is not a bad neighborhood -- it's now full of trendy shops, new restaurants, a microbrewery, and a barbershop and hair salons. The ongoing renovation & renewal has kept the character of the neighborhood while bring in new trendy business. But back to this boutique plant shop: The interior was relaxed and comfortable, and the plants were arranged beautifully. The prices were fair market value, which made them affordable for me. The staff there was friendly and relaxed, and we had a good low-key conversation while I perused the plants. I ended up buying two healthy "starter plants." She gave good instructions, regarding the unique qualities of my purchase, including how to water them. I wish they had a larger variety of plants, but overall it was a pleasant store that I'll return back to often.”

“Home Depot does a good job of having virtually everything you need from a hardware store. I needed a 6 foot length of garden hose. They had multiple options. I would have given 5 stars but I had to find somebody to tell me where they put the hoses. It was outside in their garden center.”

“I stopped in today after passing by many times and not having time to do so previously. It was my first visit, but I will say it will now be a part of my gardening staple every year! Ma. Morgan helped me she gave me a small quick tour and helped me decide on a few things. We stopped at this arrangement in a wooden well they had, I noticed my favorite flowers planted there that I haven’t been able to find I. Years and asked her for their name ( I used to plant them every year when I was little with my aunt and called them fuzzy buttons!!) ms. Morgan was so nice and told me all about them! After I picked out some marigolds she came over and let me know she found a single one it was planted but she had spoken to the owner and gotten permission to dig it up and sell it to me. This act of kindness was enough as long as Pete’s is there I’ll be a customer. You have no idea how much this means to me to have a piece of my memories with my late aunt this absolutely made my year! Thank you for the kindness and the wonderful customer service not to mention knowledge and stunning plants!”

“I arrived at 8:10 pm on Sunday, thinking the store was open till 9:00 pm. Shortly after arrival, l heard the announcer politely encourage customers to make their purchase as the store was closed. I had difficulty finding the item I was looking for. A store attendant saw me and asked if he could help. He then guided me to the correct location for the item, and did so in a pleasant and friendly way, well past closing time. I'm noticing that customer service agents are very attentive to customers! Bravo!!!”

She's older and needed some help with her old appliances and helped with installation of her new ones. They truly went above what was required of them. “I absolutely LOVE this store! I will be honest, I haven't shopped at Walmart in about 15 to 20 years. I stopped due to they "lost" all of my layaway at Christmas time (when tickle me Elmo)was a hot new toy! Well, I just shopped there today(1/7/2020) AND OMG!! They have improved and impressed me a 100%!! The employees where friendly and sooo very helpful.. I WILL be shopping there from now on. They are so much better than crappy,dirty and rude Target. “It is always fun to go to Home Depot. You will get what you came for and find something you didn't know you needed! This evening I went looking for the Christmas Tree storage bins they had online. The store is always clean and well organized. Parking is plentiful but be sure to park between the entrance and exit. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When I couldn't find the storage containers I was looking for, I asked the young man on the orange vest. He looked it up and told the containers were on a pallet and asked if I minded waiting while he found someone to get them down. It was quick and they helped me with everything I needed. The containers are a great product at a great price. The Home Depot is always my first stop!”

“Only been to the Florence location a handful of times. Sometimes (most) you don’t get acknowledged or asked if you need help. Which is Usually fine. But the last two time I was there I was help by Jack. ( that was the name on his apron). I needed a specific bolt and he researched online to see if the kit I was looking at had that bolt in it. And when it didn’t he made sure I had the right one. Next time multiple people saw me trying to get help with getting keys and kept walking by. Finally the last person I saw I asked if they could get someone to help me. Jack came again. He was friendly, greeted me made sure I had the right keys and and even got a “have a nice day” I’m really appreciate of good customer service.”

This gentleman was very helpful with every question.”
