“We 1st went to another Honda dealership in Frankfort and despite my wife having bought a vehicle from them in 2019 and having her CRV serviced there regularly, were disappointed with the approach in trying to buy a new CRV 2026. We were told we wouldn’t get it cheaper and that was their “best” price.
We then went to Gates Honda in Richmond and had a completely different vibe. Kyle, Carl and Richard were superb, friendly and professional. Felt so comfortable that they wanted to sell the car to us and not as we had earlier felt that morning, that we should be grateful that Honda Frankfort should sell the car to us.
My wife and I are grateful for our new Honda and will be getting the servicing done there and would recommend them.
Oh and we did get a better price. And my wife preferred the color ?”

“HONEST AMAZING SERVICE !!! In KY from out of state for a horse show. Daughter’s titan starts acting up not starting at first try. Called the Lexington Nissan and they couldn’t see us, so we called Gates. They got us in next day, ran diagnostics, couldn’t replicate and made some suggestions to make sure she was good to get home. They didn’t over charge or try to force a repair that they knew she could get done at home when it was more convenient!! Blown away! We were at their mercy and they were so kind! Thank you!”

“Our food truck had an electrical issue a week before our biggest ice cream sales day of the year. Jared, Zach, and team truly went above and beyond to make sure that my truck was well taken care of and back on the road just in the nick of time. Without their expertise, attention to detail, and their willingness to help, our weekend would have been ruined. While we wish we could’ve paid them in ice cream, their pricing was upfront, honest, and fair. My business has found a new home with issues such as this if problems arise again. I also learned to not let the name be deceiving as they can work on all vehicle vehicles, and for all customer types. The photo that I provided was taken about six hours after I left their shop! “Hidden jewel I stumbled on when I got a nail in my tire. I limped in on a donut tire and they had my tire in stock. They took time to show me where on tires you check for tread levels and gave me expert advice based on my needs. I couldn’t have been happier about my experience. The best part I learned was they do all kinds of repairs. I looked around at the other customers and they all were wise older men in there so I couldn’t tell it must be a good place to get repairs!”

This is not the first service I have had done at Auto Service Solutions, but after having shopped around at different mechanics over the last few years in town (i.e Majors & Minors Auto, Millers Auto, etc.), I can confidently say I will ONLY be bringing my vehicle back to Bernie and his shop from now on.
All of his (and his crews') installations and repairs are expedient, very reasonably priced, and are reliable! If you are respectful and considerate, Bernie has shown time and time again that he will treat you with the upmost care possible, whether that be transit back to your place of residence, pro bono fixes to minor/obscure parts of your vehicle, and (overall) exemplary communication. If not for Bernie and his shop, I'd be no doubt several hundred dollars poorer, out of a vehicle for the holidays, and that much more bald for having tore my hair out.

“Sparks is now the ONLY garage I'll ever use as long as I'm living in (or near) Richmond! They've done work for me a few times now, and I've never once had an issue with anything at all. Chris and everyone there are super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The shop is cleaner than any car garage I've ever seen. And today, I had to take my car in for quite a bit of work with alignment and suspension 5 hours later than I said I would be there (I did call the guys first and tell them). Chris was upfront and told me it would likely be tomorrow before I could pick up my car, which was fine by me. But not even 5 full hours later, he called and the work was done, so I was only without my car for less than half a day for all that work! Oh, and he put my wiper blades on for me at no extra cost! And that was ON TOP OF how incredibly busy the garage was not including my work! Cannot recommend a better garage than this!”
