Expensive. Unreliable service. Manipulating so watch out. Over priced and you spend too much time on voice machines before you get to talk to a human being it’s ridiculous. They need to learn how to work and go back to real life and normal.

Tried to start a prepaid plan. They couldnt make it work for more than 2 hours. The associate by the name of Christian ("damn") swore in front of me. When i complained, the manager came out really late and defended the associate when i said the associate was not properly trained for swaering and for not saying he is really sorry for the delay. Just shaking my head.

Great staff. Very helpful and got what WE wanted, not what THEY wanted to sell. Fast process as well. Sometimes buying a phone takes as long as buying a car. Not the case here. I highly recommend this location.

My teenager's sim card was literally melting (iPhone thing?). For background: I have awesome T-mobile while she is under her Dad's service. The Verizon store in Radcliff is great, but their system was down so we went to Etown. My daughter went in to get her phone looked at and it was confirmed that she needed a new SIM card. As I re-enterered the store It felt very cold. There was no acknowledgement of people's presence as they/we entered the store. 30 minutes we stood without so much as a "welcome" or "we'll be right with you". Not even eye contact! It should be noted that Vicky is who we tried to communicate with both times. She had a very rude tone of voice and a bad attitude. Long story short, the lady wouldn't give a new SIM card without her Dad being there even though she IS on the account. He lives a good drive away so my busy teen has to go without her already overpriced phone and service ON her birthday weekend! You want unreliable? You want rude? Verizon's your place! I think she'll be moving to T Mobile with me!

Editing a year later because the lack of intelligence here continues— Verizon cut off my sister’s phone plan because we had inquired about switch back a month or so ago, and decided not to. So now you have cut off my sister’s phone line until we pay our “activation fees”. If we didn’t switch, WHAT FEES DO WE OWE YOU? You all are incompetent.Absolutely awful. My family were LONG TIME customers of Bluegrass Cellular, and we couldn’t switch out fast enough after Verizon bought them out. Only reason we have to deal with you all now is because my sister had just bought a phone with Bluegrass before the merger and couldn’t switch, but 100% will be once she can. We cannot set up the app because we lack a PIN, we have waited on hold today alone for 3.5 hours and got no one, and I waited about half an hour at this location just to deal with Christina, the manager, who was a real piece of work. She rather rudely asked me for the phone number, and I had to pull it up because it is my sister’s, but I am an authorized user on the account. She then began questioning me in front of all the other customers, repeatedly asking me if I was authorized user even after I said yes, and finally saying, “Well if I pull up this account and you aren’t an authorized user, you would have wasted my time and yours.” So I told her to just tell me the wait, to which she said an HOUR, after 3.5 hours of waiting on the phone and for someone to even check me in. So I said I would pass, and asked her if she got a lot of complaints, to which she said “We get so many that it doesn’t even bother me and I don’t care anymore.” Great customer service!! This is for Christina specifically- I get that I look young and it’s your job to make sure people don’t access accounts that aren’t theirs, but I am 23 years old, and gave you the number, name, and could have given you the last four of the SSN on the account. But instead you decided to be rude and condescending to me because you thought I was a young kid you could bully. Well, you picked the wrong girl. Maybe learn some respect and manners.

I noticed that this store didn’t have the highest google star rating, but I always like to rate a store in my own experience with them and be the judge for myself. Today I was looking to upgrade my iPhone SE 2020. When I walked in, I was greeted by a young man with a reddish beard. I told the associate what I was looking for, and he quickly directed me to the far wall of iPhones where he said I could “play with them” as he had a couple of customers ahead of me. I looked at the phones for about five minutes and then went to sit down. I waited for about thirty minutes. Now there were two customers that he was waiting on that were in front of me, but there were a couple of associates that were doing nothing that could have waited on me. I am a business owner myself, and I would have never treated a customer like that. And I don’t like to say bad things about people, or other businesses for that matter, but I would like the associates to know that they did offend me, and that’s all I’ll say. (In case you may have trouble placing me, I was the fifty year old guy with gray hair wearing a gray shirt holding a Starbucks coffee cup.)

6-7-2023 try number 2 at Verizon thought today was going to be a lucky day, because there were no cars in the parking lot. Upon entering the store no line and free representatives idle! But, no such luck, the system was down, customer database and provisioning down. So to amend my last comparison it's easier to buy a house than deal with cellular phone service. Not the way to rank up your stars, there is still room to fall.5/24/2023 Not sure why a visit to a phone store takes so much longer than buying a car? Just my luck that when I walked into the store there were 5 reps and 5 customers, and by the time they got to me (I was the only one waiting), there were only 3 reps....

Verizon has been the worst service provider that i have had. They cant help you in store. They always direct you to call the 1800 number. I had tmobile prior to switching. Tmobile is the best for customer service. If i ever had issues (rare) they were immediately resoved. I wish i never switched. Verizon messes up my bill EVERY month. They still owe me $40. Verizon is the biggest joke running. If you value your time dont switch to verizon. Its a headache and a nightmare, all wrapped into one. I regret switching to verizon with a passion. Please stay far away from there marketing ploys. *update: 1 month later* After writing this review they sent a message to me to contact them through email. I wrote them an email the very same day. I got no response from that. It has been over a month and NOTHING. Just all around bad, bad, oh and also really terrible service. They just dont have it on them to pull something positive out of this negative review. Please do note that they did finally give my $40 back after having to call them. Which I have to do while I am at work. Their hours are horrible.
