Local vendors with fresh food, like cook it right in front of you fresh. Everything I have tried so far has been amazing. I have to go back and taste several things I just couldn't fit in all in one trip. Go inside and check out the variety of goodies as well. Dalgona coffee, bao pork buns, ube flavored snacks. “This store is normally fully stocked. Only problem is a disagreement about pricing. Was buying a head of cabbage and the sign said it was .89/ct. I took it as .89 a head and the manager said it meant per lb. I lost the battle but still disagree.”

“The prices are good but you pay extra for time wasted because the checkout isn't adequately staffed. At least install one self checkout. That said they did open an additional line while I was there and the staff was pleasant.”

Produce was being stocked while we were there and was great quality. I was impressed by the number and quality of offerings for such a modest store.”

“This store has made a major improvement in the last two years. The male manager will stop what he is doing to go in the back to look for items to make sure the customers get what it is they are needing. The lady with the white strip in her hair is always so pleasant and inviting. This is the cleanest dollar general I have ever been in. I live about fifteen minutes from this store there is a dollar general right around the corner from me and I will not go in it on the way to this store is also another dollar general close to berry and Taylor I will not go into that one either. It's a mess and there is never anything on the shelves. The employees at that location will be standing outside talking to people or smoking waiting for the customer to be ready to check out when they should be in the building helping the customers if they need it. I won't go in there. I travel outta of my way just to come to this dollar general. There is a young gentleman with a curly ponytail that is always busy but will stop what he is doing to help. These employees really got it going on and know what they are doing. Best dollar general in Louisville.”
