βThis store has made a major improvement in the last two years. The male manager will stop what he is doing to go in the back to look for items to make sure the customers get what it is they are needing. The lady with the white strip in her hair is always so pleasant and inviting. This is the cleanest dollar general I have ever been in. I live about fifteen minutes from this store there is a dollar general right around the corner from me and I will not go in it on the way to this store is also another dollar general close to berry and Taylor I will not go into that one either. It's a mess and there is never anything on the shelves. The employees at that location will be standing outside talking to people or smoking waiting for the customer to be ready to check out when they should be in the building helping the customers if they need it. I won't go in there. I travel outta of my way just to come to this dollar general. There is a young gentleman with a curly ponytail that is always busy but will stop what he is doing to help. These employees really got it going on and know what they are doing. Best dollar general in Louisville.β
βI always come in to buy my groceries and every time that Iβve been coming in Iβve always had some sort of card issue, but Aquria Was so nice so understanding and she even paid for my groceries this woman needs a promotion. Sheβs so amazing with customers and I really do appreciate her. I will most definitely be coming back.β
βI love their Krispy Kruncky chicken. They will make your food to order. It's always cooked perfectly. Never over cooked. The best Krispy Krunchy I've had out of any in the city.β
βLove my Aldi! Less crowds in the store with all the holiday hustle and bustle. They had everything i needed for my 'gourmet' green bean casserole for Thanksgiving except a shallot. I even picked up a few of my favorite snacks, staples, and a few xmas gifts all for $109. staff members were courteous and helpful. Check out was quick!!β
βThe prices are good but you pay extra for time wasted because the checkout isn't adequately staffed. At least install one self checkout. That said they did open an additional line while I was there and the staff was pleasant.β

βUsually out of sale items. This store should focus on food, and household items and get rid of the clothes department. No fitting rooms to try on clothes. Most items are overpriced.β
βI was pleased by what I saw when I arrived. I guess the manager was working this day. He was so kind and helpful assisting with our groceries, walking through doing safety checks and just overall professional and caring. Although the store was having maintenance issues because of the fast and friendly service I didn't even care. I will definitely shop here again and recommend this store for your shopping and quick stop needs

βGreat market and some amazing food at great low prices. Most of the employees do not speak English. But we have never had a problem getting our needs met. For those with a mayo complexion like me, I say, get out of your comfort zone and experience something new in our cities, many small ethnic businesses.β
βYou can't beat the hot dog and a drink combo. Whole pizza deal is great too, I recommend you call ahead for it so it's hot and ready when you come get it. Wish you could order them on the app to avoid having to call though.β

You take your time getting out of the car, and put your jacket on outside the car, to appear that you have absolutely no fear. Nod your head upward once to acknowledge the 3 gate keepers, zip up your jacket and keep your left hand in your left jacket pocket. And have your right hand out, ready for anything. These dudes ain't playin with no wussies. Look at them all in the eyes and say 'whats up wit it?' they will look away and say "sup'. Then you walk in. Its like a casino inside.. slots machines and all that. The owners are super nice.. be sure to buy each gate keeper a tall can of old English 800.β

βWas super happy with amount of products. A lot of fresh items were moldy. I was planning to shop in a big way there, but I chose carefully instead. Has beautiful prayer rugs, books, Islamic clothing. Loved that.β
βFor several weeks I was in and out of SDF on a regular basis. On one particular visit, I came across some New Riff bottles not easily found. I was tickled to bring them to friends in Alaska, and struck up a conversation with Tim. What a delightful and interesting man! On subsequent trips I stopped in to say hi, and was continually amazed at the patience he showed to person after person saying "Do you have any Blanton's?" He's a real asset to the Marketplace.β

βI have been shopping at this store pretty often lately. The staff is very welcoming, their produce is really good, and good prices as well. I often see someone working on the veggetables and fruits, sorting the bad ones out. They have a lot of options. I never have to wait long in line. I would totally recomment. Their spices, herbs and seasoning aisle is very good too!β
