Me and my wife stopped in late night because we were staying at a hotel a block away, and she had a sweet tooth that she wasn't fixing to let go of. Stocked full of anything you're looking for and the guy behind the counter was smooth and easy going so it was a pleasant transaction. Would stop here again.”

“I have to say... I enter a lot of Speedway gas stations, all over Kentucky. But on this occasion and this location...the one right between the Hyundai and Toyota dealerships in St. Matthews, I was fortunate enough to meet, RAND.A large Burly man in his mid to late 40's with a tathered red & black flannel shirt, well worked industrial blue jeans, boots and an old bent up blue trucker hat that brought color to his salt n pepper beard. If Paul Bunyan had a twin, Rand would be him.I walked in, and was thrown off by the greeting ."Evenin." He stared at me while chugging half of his super big gulp in one sip."Hey.." I responded.."these dogs have seen their last days, huh?" I asked, referring To the hot dogs rotating on the hot rollers.Rand perked up like a puppy that just heard an unfamiliar sound."Those dogs are about to go out to the trash... " he said with grief. "I just hate to see a perfectly good dog go down like that".I stared at the wrinkly old set of dogs..and looked up at Rand with a hmph.."I'll buy em all.. “I wanted to leave a review for the we lady who was working at 600pm on March 22nd. I was working my doordash job with my son and very grouchy due to him being a toddler when I came in then my card kept declining and I wasn't thinking straight enough to use credit and they helped me remember that option. It was so helpful and I was so rude that they really shouldn't have helped me at all. Thank you ladies! We wouldn't have made it home without the gas. Great customer service with a smile always.The lady at night with long hair is also always pleasant.”

“There are two FiveStar stations in Mount Washington; this is the first one you see when driving in from Louisville, while the other is on the town's main throughway. The latter feels like it's straight out of "Deliverance," so this is the one you want. Great staff, clean quarters in and outside the store, and they always make an effort to keep prices at the pump as low as possible. I've always had a soft spot for FiveStar's food, too; the FiveStar Bold coffee will certainly wake you up and their baked goods are well worth a shot.”

“This speedway gets a solid 5 stars for 3 reasons. Reason number one, Everytime I go they have chocolate milk in stock and that never fails, reason number two their cafe really is nice and it's the only speedway close to me that has one (that I know of), and number 3, the staff is always friendly. I typically go here to get gas because they are very close to where I live and it's the speedway that satisfies my chocolate milk need and my tornado needs, absolutely love those. They have a wide selection in food at the cafe so that's a plus and they typically keep the place tidy and need. As to the crowd, you get your typicals that usually camp out the area and some people might consider them creepy, I consider them the typical fegenbush crowd and my fellow Louisville inhabitants.”

I’ve seen them receive some very harsh language and attitude from patients, and handle these situations much better than I would.
