Unexpected great experience. Walked in with the kiddos to discover they were hosting a kids building proj3ct. Needed to sign up ahead of time (check website for info) but they gave us some extra kits to do at home and were uber friendly. Really made pur day. Returns clerk matched the energy. 5/5 for sure!!!

I called the store to see if they had the item I wanted pre-assembled as they often do because it's normally something on display. After sitting on hold for half an hour collectively, being transferred to a different person about 10 times, they hung up. This happened twice today and once before about an item I ordered that arrived at my home damaged. In both occasions I had to drive to the store to get my answer because no one could be bothered to help me over the phone. Candidly, your customer service over the phone stinks, Lowe's. Please do better.

Ordered a Blackstone grill for assembly and delivery. Third party, 2 man delivery crew attempted to make delivery, and had challenges, to say the least; I will leave at that. After a few disgruntled calls from me to Lowes, the store manager, Travis, called me back. He personally stepped up, grabbed one of his right hand men, and made the delivery himself - the store manager of a $90B company. He did not have to do that, but he did. And even threw in a nice grill cover for my troubles. Went above and beyond, what few will do these days, sadly."There is little traffic in the extra mile".Thank you, Travis and Lowes Team.

The store in my area is huge and I needed assistance locating the item that I needed to purchase. I came across an employee who was standing there by himself. I asked him but before I was able to finish my question he informed me rudely the he was assisting another customer and that he would assist me when he finished with the customer he was helping. Finally I was able to ask him my question and it took him one minute to answer me.

If you need help, have NELSON paged. Excellent customer service. I went in last night just to get vent covers. I seen an employee so figured it would be faster to ask him where they were than wondering up and down every isle looking for them. I asked him for vent cover direction and he said isle 12 and even knew what shelf they were on. I haven't seen customer service like that in years.He even said he would go with me to make sure I found what I needed,Thanks Nelson.

I'm not opposed to self checkout for 1 or 2 things, but if I have more than that for a bigger project, I'm going somewhere with some sort of customer service.I know...."Hi Michael, we're so sorry to hear about your experience. Customer service is our priority and this is not what you should expect at our Florence store. We appreciate your feedback and hope you give us another chance in the future."

Hands down the best help I have ever received at Lowe's.Edit:After specifically asking the store clerk selling us the fridge that "it is stainless steel....right?". Him confirming that it was stainless and that it was the same price. The refrigerator was to be delivered within a ball park time of 0900 to 1300 and a 30 to 45 minute call to let me know when they were on their way. They called with a 10 minute warning. And then was delivered the wrong item. The delivery crew was instructed to return it and I asked for a refund as they told me the stainless was going to cost more. 3-10 business days to refund my money!!! Yet they can pull it from my account same day. The level of incompetence of the clowns working there is unprecedented. God help America ??.

Spent 45 minutes picking out $400 worth of tile and got it all loaded into our cart as workers looked on with no help. We needed 7 more boxes than were in the shelf so we finally asked for help. After about 5 minutes the worker let us know he needed someone else to get the boxes down. After 15 more minutes he returned saying he asked their “forklift guy” for help and they got into an argument and he had to go help the forklift guy for another 10 minutes or so. After another 25 minutes of him not returning we left. We only saw one worker as we crossed the entire store to leave and she was at the self checkout. No managers, and no other workers were present. We are giving all our business to Home Depot and other stores from now on, where there are people that don’t get into arguments and refuse to help after nearly waiting an hour.

I got turned off by Lowe's a few years ago when a bought a lawnmower late in the season... last one in stock, or I would've walked out when I suggested that I could fit it- still boxed- in my Corolla and the salesman laughed at me so loudly that it was clear he was seeking an audience. (it fit easily in my back seat). A few weeks ago, I tried to spend a gift card at Lowe's, and the register declined it, so I used my debit card, went home, checked the balance online- found out that each of my gift cards has $25 on them, so I went back today to spend one of them, and it was declined again. the man at the register did not offer to help- (I had told him that I'd checked the balance online)...I still intend to get my $50 worth of overpriced stuff when I have time to dither about it, but then I'm done.

Usually a pretty good experience here, at least compared to the Georgetown store. I actually drive double the distance to get to Florence rather than go to Georgetown. Today was terrible. I waited in line to return an item. Two people working with 7 or 8 in line. No one was doing returns. After 20 minutes, it was finally my turn and when I stepped up to the counter, the woman said, "You'll have to have someone else help you." And then she left. I gave up on the return. I went to the self-checkout where the woman who'd just left was now talking to other employees who also seemed to be doing nothing. (Photo below.) I told the woman, "You know, you left the counter over there with NO ONE doing returns. I gave up, and that means it'll take an 80 mile round trip to do it another day." Her response was so rude that several other customers in the checkout commented about it. I talked to a manager who offered to do the return, but by that time the return was not the issue, it was the horrible and rude response. To that issue, he offered no resolution and I just left. Very disappointed.

My mom purchased new kitchen flooring recently from Lowes. To some the price may seem a little steep but when you take into consideration the price includes the flooring, transportation of material, taking up old flooring & installation it's not bad at all. Her floor was installed in a day-and-a-half by 1 man. He was nice, professional & really did a great job.Outside of installation/flooring my husband & I have been to Lowes a lot this year for various items. I got a dremel for a small engraving project, needed orchid food, my husband needed a drill & of course gardening tools. They've got a wide array of things to purchase from gardening, home decor, some cleaning chemicals, mowers, grills, wood, paint, tools, etc. Great store. Self check out is available also. In January my husband&I purchased a washer/dryer set & it was delivered & installed quickly and has worked well.Photos are of random things we've gotten from Lowes. (Fire is a different color bc of the flame changing powder they sell).

Couldn’t find any assistance to get a tool out of the cage, found an “assistance needed” button and pressed it about 5 times. Then I got over to the pro counter where I stood for about 20 more mins staring at the wall because nobody was to found over there either, then when somebody decided to do their job and told me I wasn’t able to order a tool from another store and that I should go to that store and get it myself. I usually drive out of my way to not come here thanks for reminding me not to come back. Terrible customer service
