I always get a fair offer when I bring clothes in. It never takes longer than a day or so for them to sort my stuff and call me back. I had a handful of totes to carry out today. The young lady that checked me out carried them to my car for me since I also had my baby in a carrier. The store was busy, I really appreciate her taking the time out to help!

Bad customer service from “Sav” today at the Florence store. Bad attitude toward very loyal customers. I’ve been a customer for over 23 years. I’m a grandmother now, still spending hundreds of dollars a year. Disappointing experience for a $5 coupon they wouldn’t honor for someone with an account for over 2 decades. The system may have an email wrong and instead of trouble shooting the issue the employee was very rude and wouldn’t budge on a resolution and didn’t give an insight as to what the issue could be. She ask a coworker and who gave her a resolution, and she declined it because she wanted to be a rude person! I swear she’s just one of those type of people. That’s what really got me!

Love this store! Even when I call and have questions the customer service is amazing! Spoke with Destiny, she was probably the nicest person I've ever talked to!

This place is just terrible, they rip you off so much. Workers are just rude & their faces just say I don’t want to be here. Tried to give it another chance & it was a mistake. Won’t be back to this location. It’s also always freaking messy!

Don't recommend selling stuff here. Had a baby walker worth $60 and they offered me $4 for it. It was basically brand new, barley used. Over heard the staff in the back say they would sell it for $40.

I've always appreciated the friendly and helpful customer service here — the staff consistently go out of their way to assist and make you feel welcome, which keeps me coming back.
However, I’ve been disappointed lately with the lack of toy selection. It used to be a great spot to find fun, affordable items for kids, but the shelves have been quite bare recently.
On top of that, the rising prices are making it harder to justify shopping secondhand. When items cost nearly as much as brand new, it defeats the purpose of thrift shopping. I understand costs go up, but it’s starting to feel less like a bargain and more like a retail experience without the new-product feeling.
Still love the staff, but I hope to see better inventory and more reasonable pricing in the future.

Overall, a great place to exchange used clothes and toys, for used clothes and toys…

I have never had a great experience with selling items at this location. I only take in name brand, barely worn, or never worn items and they hardly keep any of them. Meanwhile, browsing the selection you will find stained clothing, items that smell like cigarettes (no judgment for the donators), and shoes that are covered in mud. BUT, you won't accept a brand new, tags attached, Carter's dress with matching bloomers? Also, let me add that after I dropped off my bag of items, I shopped for a bit and as I was checking out, an employee was going through my bag, pulled out a gorgeous, never worn, semi-formal summer dress and had an absolute look of disgust on her face and continued to make rude comments about it to another employee. LUCKILY, my daughter didn't hear them. If she had, her feelings would've been crushed.

I'm not sure why I always anticipate that my items are worth more than I'm given, but I do. I won't shop here though. I don't care if it doesn't have a NIKE tag on it. Im not paying $6 for a faded shirt, for a young boys who might wear it about 10 times, before he grows out of it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Profound Act of Kindness Thank You, Stephanie and Joanna
We recently had an experience at Once Upon a Child that moved us in ways we can't fully put into words. Our daughter, going through a tough time, brought in some of her childhood Hot Wheels to sell, small things, but filled with big memories. When we learned about it, my wife and I went back to try and buy them back, hoping they were still there.
That's when we met Joanna and Stephanie two of the kindest, most compassionate people we've ever come across. Not only did they listen to our story with genuine care, but they also took the time to help us search through the store to find the cars. And then to our complete surprise they refused to charge us for them.
They gave us back something money can’t buy: a piece of our daughter’s childhood, and a deep sense of kindness in a world that sometimes feels too busy to care. What they did for us wasn’t just customer service — it was humanity at its best. Stephanie and Joanna, you’ll never know just how much that meant to our family.
If you're ever wondering whether there are still good people out there — go to Once Upon a Child and ask for Stephanie or Joanna. They're the real deal.

I think they are very fair when selling or purchasing. I've sold here for years.

I love this store. I am always stopping in here. You really never know what clothes, toys, or baby things you will find. I have bought so many things from here.
