“I was looking for a post op faja in the Cincinnati area. I found this spot it was a gem plus its black owned. I always prefer to buy black whenever possible. It had everything from waist trainers to fajas to slimming services. The girls in the shop are very accommodating and help you figure out what works best for you particular needs. The reason for the four stars is the lymphatic massage they offer. It was not comparable to my licensed massage therapist and was overly painful. Maybe if they get a licensed massage therapist I would give five stars. But everything else was top notch.”

“This privately owned store is chocked full of merchandise made by women from all around the world. I loved the line of bamboo clothing that was soft, versatile, and came in a nice variety of colors. They had some lovely jewelry. You could tell the owner loves what she does and what she has to offer. They will be moving from Main Stauss over by Braxton’s Brewery in October, 2024. The owner is all about supporting other women. At her new place, she will have space for programs to enrich women’s lives.”

Not only was she attentive and extremely knowledgeable, she also kept my entire visit fun due to her sparkling personality and sense of humor. I’ve always needed a little “extra support,” making in-person bra shopping a tedious chore. But Ebony had me fitted within minutes and her first suggestion was so on point I purchased two of them. In fact, she fitted me so well I didn’t want to change back into my old bra - and she was able to accommodate me by allowing me to keep the new one on during purchase! “Love the Orvis shop and the guys who work there. I've gone in a few times, and i always lose track of time. When I bought my rod, there was no pressure. In fact, I tried quite a few different ones in different price ranges, and I got help with my casting. I recently took the 101 class and can't wait to take 201. Manuel and Tom were really supportive and encouraging. As someone who has been out floating and wading with guides, I walked away from this experience learning more than I had on those trips. They also seemed genuinely excited to share tips and give advice. I highly recommend the class, even if you're just stepping into fly fishing! You can stay afterward and test out some rods, and take advantage of the extra deals!”

“Staff is super friendly and impeccably creatively dressed. If you ask, they will help you style an item and recommend different pieces if you are going to an event or in search of something to fill a specific need. The store’s curation is beautiful and very contemporary. There are lots of interesting, easily wearable pieces that my eye often doesn’t fall on right away because of how attractive the unusual/textural/sculptural stuff is. The result of the aesthetic mix inspires thinking differently about dressing and styling, even when I don’t pick anything up. Fair warning—some of the price tags are steep, but A) not all of them are that way, and B) higher cost per piece is often the nature of shopping for high quality pieces from small brands and emerging designers who do not have the scale and/or willingness to cut costs on sourcing materials, production processes, labor practices, craftsmanship, or thoughtful design. And you can always wait for a sale—there are very good deals on a lot of cool, niche, sometimes very high-end pieces. Nothing here comes from a 52-micro-season brand. Like its peer boutiques on Vine St (Continuum, TMBTITWI, Sloane), everything at Idlewild has careful thought and artistry behind it. Go, browse, be mindful and open-minded—the people who make up this business are that way themselves.”
“This store was excellent. All the associates were very helpful and attentive. I was quickly given a dressing room and they added my considered clothes to it. All the associates gave advice about the pieces that I tried and hand picked items they thought I would like. I didn’t even go in for jeans but they picked out such a great options I ended up going home with three pairs. The clothes are pricey but the service and quality make it worth it.”
