The Woolery is the place for weaving, spinning, knitting, crochet, felting, dyeing, rug hooking, and rug punching. Established in 1981, it is an absolute must-stop location for any fiber crafter. The store has just about everything you need, with a jaw-dropping selection of yarn, fibers, books, equipment, dyes, and materials. It features one of the largest selections of weaving loom and spinning wheel floor models to test drive. It is a wonderful source with top quality products, recommended even by teachers and museums for demonstrations. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to give helpful tips and alternatives. They provide excellent customer service and are a wealth of knowledge for your fiber arts journey. Great place, very helpful staff. They do more mail order but shop is open one day a week.

This is THE fiber, weaving, knitting place to go. Amy Judd is a wealth of knowledge/cheerleader for your weaving arts journey. My wife and I loved talking to her and could've stayed all afternoon. Whenever I'm in the Lexington KY area this will always be a stop on our journey.
