Car rental itself went fine. However I left an item in the car and returned 30 minutes later to retrieve it. They could not find the car…anywhere…how is that possible? So I wasn’t able to get the item back. A few days later it became worse....they deleted my Lost Item report in their system, probably because of the negative review. No follow-up, terrible service...last time we rent from Hertz.

Horrible customer service. I couldn't speak with anyone via phone to change my drop off location. No one was working when I returned to Hertz@ airport. Then Hertz charged an extra $400.

If I could do negative or zero stars I would. Never thought I would need to video of a car at time of check in for my own protection. Dissatisfied with receiving an incident report, 1 day after in check in for a rock windshield chip, that was not present at check in or discussed at check in. Renter beware, the photos also are not time stamped nor full car shown. Seems shady

Cvg airport rental companies rented out our reserved car and all of their cars to Procter and Gamble stranding alot of people, but a woman from Hertz found us a car and saved our vacation!! She was an Angel!!!

Takes at least 30 minutes per person to pick up cars. Still waiting so may be longer. You should be able to check in cars in less than 2 people per hour!

My experience with Hertz rental car was very good. particularly Lindsay who assisted me with the return she had humor and a bright personality that went above and beyond to chase after me with my sunglasses that I'd left in the car. highly recommend

We tried the “skip the counter” feature, but we kept getting “vehicle isn’t ready” as a response when it came time to get our vehicle. They didn’t have exactly what we ordered, but Jamie helped us get into one we were happy with. She was super helpful and friendly! People like her will get us to come back next time we’re at this airport.

Probably the easiest pickup & return of any rental agency I’ve rented from. Exceptionally friendly & professional staff. Car was clean inside & out and ready to go.
