I hate to rent it here even tho i am a presidential club member. They lady who assisted me didn't respond appropriately and she doesn't know what she's doing. I gave my AAA number to waive the underage fee. She doesn't know to click on verify after typing, as she insisted me to pay underage fee for the entire rental. i had to tell to click on verify and then it got waived. I don't know if hertz or that lady want to charge us more, but literally the worst hertz i ever encountered.

I rented cars from CVG may be 20 times, generally everything works fine unless you don't come across a new employee or someone who dos not know how things work (or don't care). I travel enough to be on presidential circle with gold plus membership. During my December 2023 rental, I was told that my name does not showup as gold member on the computer screen so I was registered as no-member. I showed my profile on my phone and even showed my name on gold board (hertz's own board) outside the office with my name listed as gold+ but nope.. the attendant said there is nothing they can do to fix it. Funny..

Will never rent from here again! Picked up car on Saturday morning. I returned the car after hours the same day. I still have yet to get a receipt and they still are charging my card an extra $100 each day! It should not take days to close out a contract! I will be contacting my credit card company if they keep charging me.

I had no issues when renting through this location. The process was quick and easy. Being under 25 I took advantage of my AAA membership to avoid any additional fee. Booked the car with Credit card and I was also able to drop off the car when desk was closed.

I was upgraded in my car selection, which was, obviously fine, but the car I was upgraded to wasn't ready and I had to wait 20min for them to bring it up. Other than that, the agent at the counter was very efficient and drop off was easy.

Constance at Hertz saved our trip! We were running late because our flight was delayed and Hertz was closing at the time we were getting to the airport. Constance waited for us and helped us get our rental car with ease. She was friendly and efficient and we could not thank her enough!!!

Rented a Tesla for Thanksgiving. When I returned the vehicle, there was only one person managing returns for Hertz, Thrifty, and another company. Left the “rental key” in the center console as instructed. It was a piece a plastic with a QR code/ my rental key was my cell phone. I never received a bill even though it was promised within 24 hours. Looked up the bill and was fraudulently charged $350 for a “missing key.” Need to speak with a Hertz representative immediately before I cancel the charge and file with the Better Business Bureau. Someone is committing fraud within the company, and no one should have to go through what I am right now.

I picked up an EV on 9/7 for a long weekend rental. The following day I became aware the vehicle was not charged and it was returned on 9/8 for another vehicle. Since I prepaid $35 for the "recharge" for the E/V that was not initially charged, I requested a refund for that "fuel charge" and was informed that it would take a week to 10 days. It is now 2 months later 11/8/23 and I'm still being told it's being processed. I'll never use Hertz again!

One of the worst experiences for rental cars. I understand that the staff was frustrated and overwhelmed with the situation but… there’s no reason to be rude, and snarky to your customers. One PC member simply ask about the issue at hand and then the agent responds “we know, we’re working on it buddy” in a snarky manner. That’s not how you speak to your clients at all.We booked months in advance and still ran to issues with this branch running out of cars. We waited nearly 2 hours for a car… the worst part… they ended up giving us one of their cars that was just sitting out on the “presidential circle” this whole time of waiting. I know it’s not solely the branch’s fault. It’s the system. Get it together!To all my fellow travelers. Pro tip as a supervisor from a smaller GA airport. Call the rental car office directly to book and get a verbal confirmation that your car will be delivered as scheduled. That way you have a better idea of what your about to get into or if you need to make adjustments to your travels. I figured we were gonna be faced with this issue because of the fact of calling their office with no luck at anyone answering… I called several times. No answer.On the bright side. The car we got was clean.Good luck.

Terrible experience. No employees. The employees that are there have no idea what is going on (other than the lady at the front desk). Pickup was scheduled for 840pm. 10pm and still no car. Sent upstairs to get our vehicle and there was no vehicle in the assigned spot. Claimed staff shortages. Staff threatening other customers. Over 2 hours to obtain a rental vehicle. Will never ever ever rent from Hertz CVG again.
