“Dr Turn did an excellent job in diagnosing our basset hound Tatiana! Her spleen was enlarged and had a tumor on it. The suggested I take her to Metropolitan for surgery, even though he was more then capable, they did not have the blood and she may have need a cardiologist on hand. I admire that in a vet! He gave me options and some were not good.He also explained the expense of going the surgery route. But they were option nonetheless. I chose to go to Metropolitan and do the surgery which is not cheap. Like I told everyone, I love my dog as much as a child or my husband and if it were my husband, I would not chose to put him to sleep but do anything to prolong his life! The same goes for my precious dog!

Tatiana came through surgery wonderful. They removed a soft ball size tumor on her spleen as well as the spleen. The doctor also tacked her stomach as a precaution against future bloat. We are hoping Tatiana will come home tomorrow!”

“Barbour Lane is always the best and very welcoming to us! Our dog simba has been going there for a couple years now and we have always had the sweetest techs and the doctors as well. Simbas struggled with lots of allergies and we finally been able to get it under control with the help of the doctor and the techs. Brenley and Kayla helped us on our visit today and made sure simba was happy the whole time! We love them🤍”

The surgery went great and Dr. Hite updated me throughout the entire day. My boy is so happy and I’m even happier with this team and how they care for and accommodate my pitty. “Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish!
From the moment we called with an emergency, the staff at Derby City Crossroads Animal Hospital was incredible. I explained that we’d had a bad experience in the past with my German Shepherd because he doesn’t like to be held, and they immediately made me feel at ease. They offered the option to prescribe anxiety medication for him to take two hours before his appointment, which was such a thoughtful touch and immediately made me feel better.
They were able to get him in same day, quickly diagnosed a double ear infection, and treated him with such patience and care. To my surprise, my dog actually did amazing during the visit, a true first for him! Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, understanding, and professional.
You can tell they truly care about both the animals and their owners. I can’t thank them enough for turning what could’ve been a stressful visit into such a positive experience. Highly recommend to everyone in need of a vet. five stars all the way!

“I love this place. The vet really listens to my concerns about medication side effects and is willing to work with me on holistic avenues of treatment. The staff is always very nice and the wait time is short. I don’t feel like they look at me and see dollar signs as soon as I walk in the door like a lot of other veterinarians around the area. They always treat me and my dog kindly and I never feel like they are trying to get rid of me or that they don’t want to listen to me.”
“I’ve been a costumer of Fenwick for majority of my 9yr old lab mixes life and I just cannot rave enough about this place and its employees. I adopted an elderly cat recently and he’s had some dental issues and they have answered every call, every question, helped every way they can. My entire friend group takes their pets here and I just love them and how much they love my fur babies. They will have my cat for a couple days and I know he’ll be in the best hands with the most reasonable prices. 13/10stars I love Fenwick!”

“We cannot recommend Dr. Reinhart highly enough. She is kind, compassionate,caring, knowledgeable and super competent. She is also a straight shooter. We just lost our 15 year old diabetic dog. She was willing to go to extraordinary lengths to help her live a comfortable, happy life; she was so very supportive of us when it was clear that it was time to let her go. She’s taken care of all three of our dogs since she bought the practice, and you could not find a better vet. Her assistants, Kelly and Sarah are wonderful and helpful too. I cannot recommend Dr. Reinhart highly enough.”
