“We had a maintenance emergency with our water heater leaking water under the floor boards. Joe, our maintenance man, showed up super quickly and was able to completely change out the water heater in just a few hours. He was professional and really saved us in a timely manner.”
“Nice quiet neighborhood, the apartments are nice, the maintenance crew is good, they fix things quickly, the office people are also nice. The rent is not cheap, but probably not the most expensive either.”
“I’ve lived at Raintree in 3 different apartments here, left and came back to my current 4th apartment of the last 4 years I won’t move unless I’m buying a house ? ?.”
“Where to even begin about Chase the Apartment Manager!! There are truly no words to describe how crucial he has been in our 6 years of living here( also just renewed for another year!) but I'll try..
Chase is the most professional yet caring apartment manager or person I've ever had the privilege of renting from and knowing. He has been instrumental in the success of my family being able to meet our rent monthly and always goes above and beyond to help us with anything we need. He is quick to get any repairs or concerns addressed and corrected. If you are considering renting from Lakewood Park Apartments , go meet Chase and he will show you just one of the many reason why you should say YES!! Thank you Chase for all you do.”
“I am currently living at the hub and it was the best decision I could have made! The location is perfect to everything on campus and having a gym in the apartment is perfect, especially when I don’t feel like walking to the campus gyms! I love the floor plan layouts and overall any problem maintenance fixes it insanely quick and is very on top of it! I feel like I live in luxury here! I love it”
“I lived here for over 3yrs.Moved out December 2021.I loved it there. The maintenance guys go above and beyond for anything you may need. Its a great location and gated in.Never any theft or problems that I know of.Cleaned my apartment and got my deposit back no problems. The only annoying thing was if kids lived up stairs.Floors are old and you hear everything above you.Very nice pool and laundry mat.Shout out to the guys at W.O.T.C.”
“Living here was a great experience! The location is super convenient—close to groceries and everything we needed. Debby was always kind and considerate. Even after we moved, she went out of her way to help us retrieve a package that had been taken. Truly appreciated her help!”
“I lived here for 4 years while getting my bachelors and masters degrees at the university. I originally lived in a one bedroom which was always clean and the bathroom had been updated which was nice! The two bedroom I moved to for the last 5 months was clean except for the bathroom. No matter how often I cleaned it, it really just needed to be completely updated. Besides this, I have no complaints from my time living here. Yes the apartments are old, but maintenance was fantastic when they were needed on few occasions, the rent is cheap, and its right next to a bus stop to take you to the university. The front office is also extremely nice. Some people have mentioned bugs in their reviews, but in both buildings I lived in I never had issues. Like I said, old but clean. I recommend living here if you are a student or on a budget.”
“The maintenance workers always do a great job at fixing things around the apartment after leaving a maintenance request! Specifically, shoutout to Cam for unclogging our showers because they were really bothering us with all the water build up!”
“I currently live here and i love it. The management is so nice and a joy to be around. If you need something done they are more than willing to help you. They explain everything so well and in detail. The apartments are so nice and spacious”
“I've lived here for 5 years. Some of these reviews are completely unfair. You can't control your neighbors, And whenever I've had a problem management was quick to address noise concerns. The place is filled with young professionals, and the few college kids I have seen are quite respectful. Any apartment if you have somebody living above you, you are more than likely going to hear them. Do you know how to solve that? Rent an apartment on the top floor. Walls are nice and thick You do not hear your neighbors between them. I absolutely love this area, And I'm not easy to keep happy.”
“Barrel Oaks is the best apartment in the heart of the city , close interstate, shopping mall, grocery stores , University , downtown....
Professional management, helpful staff and maintenance , it's very safe apartment
I highly recommend everyone”
“Good afternoon, how can I get a key for the mail since I don't have it? Can someone with identification go or does it have to be me? It's just that I work and when I return the office is already closed”
“I moved into my beautiful home in 2018. Ashley Davidson was my rental agent, and she’s took on a few different roles over the years, from maintenance management to now, property management. I can honestly say she, and the maintenance team are who get 5 starts. Considering I’ve never had to deal with anyone else. When I needed something, I always call or email her, even though she isn’t my rental agent anymore. She always goes above and beyond to fix any issues or problems, and the maintenance crew is always spot on, I’ve never had to wait more than a few days or call about an issue more than once. They are courteous enough to email about anything before placing fines, the bushes in the front yard were overgrown and needed trimming, and they emailed me after an inspection to let me know, instead of just citing me for it. I don’t know how this review would look if I had another leasing agent in the beginning of my time with Ball Reality, but I am very glad I met Ashely and that she continues to take care of me after leaving the position of leasing agent.”
“I am so very happy with my experience at this complex! It has recently been taken over by new management and the ladies at the office have been so incredibly helpful with my whole move in experience. Tracy and Sandra stayed late on a Friday evening for me to sort out my lease and let me get moved in before the weekend. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and I feel very safe at this complex. Thank you so much!”
“This is my second year living here. The apartment complex is pet friendly and management/office staff is so kind/helpful. I am a big fan of the dog park, clubhouse, and pool areas. All my neighbors are respectful. Office staff replies quickly to mail/messages and maintenance is also very responsive. This is a great place to live and so close to downtown. Bus stop is super close and will take you straight to campus. I rent a one bedroom and the pricing is reasonable compared to other places in Lexington especially considering the location.”
“I am very satisfied with the maintenance work that has been done on my apartment. Please pass along to your maintenance guys that i'm very satisfied with them. And all their work that they're doing, and i'm very proud of them.”
“It is a very nice apartment complex, it is no smoking which I appreciate because I am allergic to tobacco.
One small downside is trash valet, you have to pay for ther service. It isn't a choice. We never use it but pay $35 a month.
Maintenance is quick to come these days which I appreciate. We have one of the apartments that hasn't been renovated yet so our rent is a little lower. You can also send them things and they will print them for you, which I appreciate very much.”
“Park Place is a wonderful apartment complex in a very convenient location. The staff is very easy to work with especially Darcy in office. She is always very helpful and professional!”
