Half Price Books is a store with tons of books, CDs, vinyl, and other such items, as well as interesting board games. It is a great place for the avid reader and is based on keeping media affordable, with well-priced records and easily removable stickers. The store is clean and a joy to explore, with a charming outside area. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and very nice. Some find the selection, like the YA section, can be hit and miss. The store is currently buying from the public with limited hours and quantity restrictions. Selling items can yield low prices, which some find disappointing.
Very large used book store, was able to find many books missing from my sci-fi collection even though the section was relatively small. As usual, the largest section was romance. Some of the author category placements don't make sense, but the have a full inventory to look up so you can find what your looking for.

Love the pricing for the books. But I've been went lately to get my books bought and I wasn't very happy with the price I got back.

Great place with great prices, staff is wonderful, looked everywhere for a book & an amazing staff member found exactly what my daughter was looking for(I wish I had her name!) & quickly. Love 1/2 price books!
