Do NOT make a reservation here if you have an insurance claim for a rental car.They WILL cancel your reservation.They WILL alter the type of car you are allowed to pick up.They WILL claim you are lying about your reservation.This is a bad business and clearly needs to be investigated by regulatory agencies.

Well unfortunately I did have a rough time with Hertz online and app service. However the the wonderful and amazing women at this office were on point! Friendly and professional. They got everything done and made sure I was happy. Thank you very much Erica and Bre!! Much appreciated everything you did

Horrible customer service. Confirmed a rental online and get there and they don’t have a car. Also can’t get anyone on the phone. This has happened twice.

COMPLETE NIGHTMAREMy partner rented a car so he could drive Uber while our personal car was in the shop. Even with a reservation, he barely received his car. He saw others after him get turned away. I got a different answer for my questions each time I called.He finally got a car. It was dirty and smelled bad. The cigarette lighter port did not work so he couldn't charge his phone.He tries to drive it for less than a day and there are warning lights flashing, the brakes are squealing, and it chugs when he makes a turn. We call Hertz because this car is not safe to drive. They say a tow truck will be to our place in 90 minutes. Several hours go by and a tow truck finally comes to get the car, but doesn't even tell us to get the key from us.We try to get a refund for the rental, but the location can't even locate the car! They can't close the reservation until they find their own car. After waiting several days, I finally call roadside assistance and wait on the phone for 45 minutes while that agent tracks down the car. We have to go to the airport to close the rental car reservation and return the key.They tell us it will be 3-5 business days before we get our refund. Fine, whatever.But then they CHARGE US $150 for the towing!! They charge US for towing the defective car they rented to us!The whole event has and is currently a NIGHTMARE. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK. And we are still waiting for our refund and now we have to dispute the towing charge that wasn't even our fault!At least we weren't arrested as I read other Hertz customers have been for when Hertz can't find their own car and reports it stolen so the customer gets arrested.This has GOT TO STOP.DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ AND ESPECIALLY NOT FROM THIS LOCATION.

SCAM FRAUD BEING REPORTED. Be prepared to fight or chargeback anything they charge you. Dont let them do this to you like they try to do to others. This is a pure scam, they screw you on your time frame by not having a car ready but demand it be returned on time, theybdint actually take pics of the damage so they can claim it happened when you had the car, they dont have cars ready for pickup on time. The lack of customer service is about the same as mc Donalds, you are better off with anyone else, Enterprise keeps coming through and has better car options.

They were amazing! I had a problem with Enterprise they came and got me within 20 minutes of making my reservation took me back to the shop to get my vehicle. Signed The papers walked out the door. I had the vehicle for over six weeks because my car had hail damage, and the entire time I had the vehicle and stayed in contact with me, all of the employees that I worked with which was several of them apologize for not knowing their names, but they were all very very helpful and made it an easier process than it was expected to be. Thank you so much for all of your help at the Winchester Rd., Hertz in Lexington, Kentucky.

This location didn't have enough vehicles for the rentals reserved, and I feel it is the company's fault, not the employees at all. The employees were trying their best, but whoever controls their website needs to code for inventory. They tried to say it was just on third party sites, but I went straight through Hertz and there were very many types and sizes of vehicles showing as available for my date when I reserved just the evening before, but yet I was lucky enough to get the last one as I watched them turn away other reserved pick-ups for not having any vehicles available - it wasn't even 11am yet. The employees at this location were great... it's the company holding them back at being successful. As an employee, I'd be mad, too, for having to do the company's dirty work.

DO NOT rent from HERTZThe pickup and the car itself were great! The price was the lowest. BUT, when I brought the car back, I was told there would be a pet cleaning fee of $400 for excessive pet fur. I had no pets in the car. It was transferred from clothes and blankets. It took me 20 minutes to find a store, then 5 minutes with a lint roller to clean what was there. All of it would have come up when they vacuumed.DO NOT rent from Hertz. If you have any other option that is even close in price, choose it!!!
