HobbyTown Lexington is a locally owned hobby store with over 25 years of service. It specializes in a big selection of RC cars, trucks, helicopters, airplanes, Gundam, model cars, rockets, military modeling, paint, model railroads, disc golf, and much more. RC cars are a main focus, with demos and a large selection. The store is known for its awesome paint selection and modeling supplies, including model train items and PECO switches. It is considered the best place in town price-wise. The staff are consistently described as super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. However, the store is noted to be messy with lots of clutter, dark, and in awful shape with poor displays, especially when compared to other locations.
