“Stayed overnight with our children on a cross country road trip. The hotel was really impressive. Amazing price for what you get. The lobby is huge and clean. The rooms were really big and quiet. There is a special shout out to the front desk woman working when we arrived, she was exceptional with helping us with check in, getting a playpen for our baby, and interacted with our children in the sweetest way! We had our car packed with valuables but we were too tired to unpack and felt safe with them in the lot overnight . Thank you Amara !!”

“Walking distance to a gas station 3 minutes drive from dollar general and O'Reilly's donuts shop right around the corner and an authentic cuisine restaurant next door! Rooms are spectacular and great staff!! Would definitely return if I have a chance! Baptist hospital is pretty much across the street as well and there's an excellent car wash behind the hotel as well!!”

“The breakfast was basic, but otherwise good. The staff were friendly but the reception staff spent most of their time hidden behind a big monitor in front of them. The outside gas firepit was great, the times it was actually on.The bedroom was comfortable, but what let it down was the loud noises from the heat/air systems. Not just in our room, it sounded like from the room next door, too. Very loud and mechanical sounds. When in the shower, it sounded like a freight train was in there with me.It was a shame as it was a great location.”

“The rooms are alright - green and black colors with a horse- stable motif. The fridge and safe are in the chest of drawers. When I scanned a code in the room to find out info about the hotel and room, it showed a drag show scheduled for Sunday a.m. - staff could be more attentive to guests in my opinion, or hire more people for the front desk. Did feel safe and great area in the Summit at Fritz Farm.”

“Overall, our stay was above average. I’ll comment on a few pros and cons. PROS: - GYM - absolutely the best gym I’ve ever seen in a hotel, even luxury hotels twice the cost. If working out is important as you travel, you’ll be very pleased. -PARKING - free parking in front of hotel -BEDS - very comfy, sheets luxuriously soft -PLANTS - plants in room was a nice touch -ARTWORK - painted artwork is colorful and beautiful CONS: -CHECK- IN - the same person checks you in for hotel and restaurant. When we arrived, there were about ten people in front of us, some waiting for restaurant seating, and one group checking in to hotel. So check in was delayed. Also, for safety, I’d encourage the staff not to announce your room number out loud for others to hear as they give you the keys. Especially important for female solo travelers. -BAR DRINKS - just average for the cost. -RESTAURANT SERVICE - a little slow, but staff was courteous. -BATHROOM- very cramped and only one set of towels given. We did locate another set in the bedroom cabinet. This is a nice boutique hotel and overall we enjoyed our stay and would likely return.”

“I was on a business trip for only one night of travel and saw that this hotel had high ratings to higher than nearby hotels. I also enjoy the more homely feel of the Residence Inn Marriott brand. This hotel was consistent with that feel. Other high ratings for the hotel were consistent with my experience. In particular, the rooms are very well designed, hotel is kept very clean and employees take pride. The customer service was exceptional by all employees I interacted with, including Ray, who expeditiously helped me. I noticed it was a little more to stay at this Marriott hotel vs. other Marriott and non-Marriott options, but it was certainly worth it. When employees take great personal pride in their jobs and do their utmost, as if welcoming you in their home, it shows and I could not think of higher praise. I am not sure when I will be back in the area for business/pleasure, but I would certainly stay here. It is may be a little light on some amenities, but I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties and to me it was inconsequential stuff (like internet TV) or things I barely noticed or immaterial for a business trip. The rooms are terrific (and I pay attention to things like quality of craftsmanship/construction) - spacious and thoughtfully designed, the staff are exceptional, and the environment is relaxed and homely. That is exactly the stuff I want on a business trip in/out and under higher stress conditions.”

“We stayed a night here as it is close to UK hospital. My 15 month old grandson was to have a test there. From the moment we got there the lady at checkout greeted us and went out of her way to provide milk for the baby.At 5am I went to purchase something to tide my 10 year old over during test on the baby. The lady at the desk came around and showed me that, although it was too early for their breakfast, she had graciously put out begals, toast, cinnamon rolls and thst. Plus the best cup of coffee I ever had.Angels is what they are.The staff and a man from a church there in town.Perfectly clean room.Perfect stay and we are ever so grateful for every aspect of our stay.I do recommend”

“Great hotel option right off the 75! Great breakfast, friendly staff, comfy beds. THIS is why we usually choose Homewood Suites for our family when we drive to FL!”

“The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Lexington, Kentucky is a good hotel. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. The walk-in showers are very nice. They have plenty of parking. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We would recommend anyone requiring a good nights rest in or going through this area to try this hotel.Rooms: The rooms are clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: Convenient location.Safety: No concerns.Walkability: There are many restaurants within walking distance of this hotel.”

“Decent priceRooms: They are mostly cleanNearby activities: Stores and restaurant are close byNoteworthy details: If you say here.... note this, you are not allowed to have any visitors at all! Not one visitor are you allowed to have there, if caught having someone else in your room you will be thrown out! This is the only downside to this motel! Otherwise, it's okay.”

“Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. I might have worried about safety if I hadn’t had my son with me, but it was quiet on a Sunday night. Note that if you are on the second floor there is no elevator.”

“This was a one night stay. Parking was easy. Rooms and areas were clean. Service was great. In fact rooms were really cozy. The only reason it is 4 stars is because you need to let the water run closer to 15 minutes before you can get the hot water. Seems like that is something that needs to get fixed and waste of water as well.”

“Although we did not actually stay at this hotel, I can’t say enough about how kind and accommodating this hotel and its staff were. My boyfriend and I ran into some car trouble as our car died as we were exiting off the highway. The employees at Hampton Inn pulled out 3 extension cords, and ran them from inside the hotel to our car outside so we could use our mobile charger to get us enough battery life to make it to the next closest super charger. They went above and beyond to help us out, and we weren’t even guests! If you’re looking for a place that goes above and beyond to accommodate its guests I’d say this is the place! ??”

“Great place to get away for a weekend with shopping, food and more close by. I will be honest, I have been a Front Operations Manager for a Holiday Inn in California for several years and the staff is great don’t get me wrong however, the uniforms or lack of could be a bit improved. They are wearing their own clothing and some wear things that you think should be or would be considered against brand standard. Overall the rooms are great, the staff are friendly and helpful that combined with the location make this a top notch spot for any business or vacation you may have planned.Rooms: Spacious, clean and neat”

“While the staff was very friendly, the hotel is quite old and in need of extensive renovation and updating. The pool was also closed during my stay in early September.”

“I stayed here for a work-related conference, and the conference was being held near the Rupp Arena, so this hotel was very close to where our conference was being held. We were able to walk from the hotel to the conference center without having to leave the building, which was very convenient. The hotel is located in a great area where you can walk to a variety of stores and restaurants, also. The room itself was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom came equipped with a lot of things that are not normally stocked in hotels such as q-tips and cotton balls. On my second day, the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking due to someone above me, but I was able to move rooms quickly thanks to the staff. One of the staff members that was absolutely amazing was Diana. She gave us a lot of information and was so friendly! I had a nice time staying here.”

“Hotel needs some serious management revamping. Locking guests out of their room before checkout at 11am. Not honoring what they said is ok- 2pm checkout for Hyatt members. Location is great, hotel is relatively updated. If you have a choice, choose elsewhere in the area.”

“Was here for work. Over was ok. Biggest issue for staying for almost 2 weeks for work. No extended stay rooms. Small fridge and shower head like most hotels was awful and not great water pressure. But very clean with housekeeping every other day. Great breakfast available but cost extra.”

“I just like to say I read some of the reviews and I don't know what some people's deals are… this is a pretty good hotel! We missed our flight so had to stay the night with someone close. This hotel is like 10 minutes or less from the airport! The workers were really nice and the hotel was clean. I'm from WV so I've seen ghetto nasty hotels and this is nothing to compare. Like this hotel is nice and I mean a standard hotel… so idk if some Kentucky people or out-of-town people are just stuck up and rich people and have to have their fancy 5 resort experience… this place was nice for the price. The tv worked. The beds were clean. The bathroom was nice and had BIG shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles.. I mean big! Free breakfast and a pool! It's Close to the mall!I mean I thought it was great! Idk why people said it was bad.. It's not.. I honestly think people are dramatic! In WV this would be like a 4-star hotel and I honestly don't know why it isn't. This hotel is clean! The rooms are a good size! FREE breakfast?!? Like come on? Unless you a spoiled picky rich person… this place is nice! Thank you”

“Wow the low ratings surprise me and I'm a hotel snob. Thankfully it looks like they're from years ago and perhaps this property has been purchased by someone else and refurbished. I'm basing my review on the fact that the hotel caters to truckers. Albert from Velocity Truck told us they run a trucker special for $70 and it includes a free shuttle to and from their repair shop. Saved us $25 in Ubers at least - which when you're facing a possible repair bill - is a godsend. I called ahead to speak with reception and confirm they had laundry (and detergent) on site and that the trucker deal was legit. The woman who answered was friendly and helpful and my driver reported the same when he checked in. He said the rooms were clean - you know I had him checking the mattress! And he was able to do 2 weeks of road laundry. He also enjoyed the free breakfast and free WiFi. I was straight up prepared to send him someone more expensive in town - or back to his sister's house in Louisville via $90 OW Uber - but La Quinta came through. As my husband says it's easy to talk smack about truckers but when y'all need food and clothes and Xmas gifts how you think it's getting there?? Thanks for having our back LaQuinta!”

“1 night stay. The 2 queen with sofabed room we had was really big and roomy. The beds were comfortable, but the sofabed was really thin and worn out. Room and bathroom was clean though and the room smelled pleasant. Average hotel breakfast, just ok, but had good variety. Evening shift employee was extremely nice and helpful. Easy access to the highway. The only real complaint I have about this location is the foul sewer smell that was outside. We would stay again.”

“Even though my choice rewards reservation messed up. The night clerk was excellent in help and got me a good rate on the room. Excellent stay and a very comfortable bed!”

“Really great room for the price! My only complaint is that the shampoo provided was barely enough for one shower so definitely bring your own if you want to feel really clean.Noteworthy details: Really close to 75N so great for traveling!”
