The Kentucky Horse Park is a unique attraction and a treasure to the state, blending a working horse farm with an equestrian theme park on over 1,200 acres. It is home to around 50 horse breeds and welcomes over 500,000 visitors each year. The park celebrates the relationship with the horse through education, exhibition, engagement, and competition. Visitors can enjoy beautiful grounds, engage with equine presentations, and take horse-drawn tours or horseback rides. The park is home to the International Museum of the Horse and the American Saddlebred Museum, which are interesting and informative. The programs are engaging and timed well, allowing guests to move easily from one to the next. It is a very friendly place with beautiful horses, perfect for families and horse lovers for a visit lasting half a day or longer. The campground offers reasonable rates, easy access, and well-maintained public grounds, though the sites have no sewer hookups and can be challenging to level for larger units. Overall, it is a great place to spend a lovely day, well worth a visit.
This is my second time at the Kentucky Horse Park. Both times I was there working. It is a beautiful compound rich in Equestrian heritage.

I went for the drive-thru Southern Lights Holiday Festival event and Holiday Village. The drive-thru and Holiday Village were amazing. This place is family friendly.

A dream come true to stop here! I wish I had come when it was warmer so I could enjoy outside things but well worth it even in winter
