Lexington Self Storage is a new self-serve facility located in downtown Lexington near the University of Kentucky. It offers convenient 24/7 access through a rental kiosk, allowing customers to rent units and buy locks anytime. The facility is praised for its location and the ease of self-service options. However, some reviews highlight issues with management and customer service. Customers have experienced difficulties reaching staff, especially during times of emergency or after damage from a storm, which affected access to units for weeks. Despite the management's efforts to credit renters during inaccessible periods, communication remains a problem, with unanswered calls and emails. Additionally, availability of units can be limited, as one customer noted that all units were sold out when they visited. Overall, the facility provides a convenient self-serve experience, but potential customers should be aware of possible management and communication challenges.
Well my boyfriend rented a unit this morning paid and then goes to enter code for gate and it said no access to storeage area now we just setting waiting till they respond with how to fix this issue. Then I see all these negative reviews and thinking maybe this place wasn't a good choice.

I like the self serve portion of the unit but I went the other day and there were no more available units. Which is not their fault because if they are sold out they're sold out

After hours computer rented the wrong size unit that was tiny at full price for a 5x10. Reservation went to the wrong location. But after a quick phone call, the issue was cleared up promptly and professionally.
