“KBC is a store FOR HORSE PEOPLE. It’s not a farm store with a tiny section for horses. The entire store is loaded with products for horses and the folks that work there are horse people. “A very interesting and well organized tour. I was so impressed with the quality control and attention to detail. I learned that all they do is horse feed and the rigorous focus on horse nutrition, based on science, is what has made this family business a success for many decades. “Met them at a local pool party for dogs in August. Bought peanut butter plain treats shakes like a little bone. My dog loves them and was sniffing through her travel bag today looking for them. Needless to say the bag is empty.”
“Varieties that work for both cat/dog treats. Some unique treats and gifts are not seen in retail stores for all price ranges. They put in a brown bag with a handle that is stamped with a logo that would be easy for gift purposes. The front door was sticking that would not open easy for weak or handicap but the salesperson will open for you or call ahead of time. They also keep local dog sitter and trainer cards for canine/feline owners by the door.”

“We love our Petland Pup, Riley! Petland is more expensive than going to a breeder. But we found a few things worth it. First, we had no idea what type of dog we wanted (or if we wanted a dog rather than a cat), but we described the personality we want. Trey was able to tell us which pup matched that description, and he was spot on. Second, the three-year guarantee is great not necessarily because we’re banking on something happening to Riley, but because we’re more certain that something won’t if Petland will have to make up for it if it does. We also really benefited from the free vet visit, as we may have procrastinated on the first visit without that offering. Third, they gave great tips like not using puppy pads, and they provided great resources with our package. Like we wouldn’t have thought to necessarily buy treats, shampoo, a crate, etc. immediately. So while we later bought new things like a play pen, it was great to go home with the basics. The puppies are not potty trained, so I’d just watch many videos on crate training to prepare. We’re still figuring that one out a few weeks later.”
“I came in recently to grab some dog food, treats, etc. the tall skinny man who I believe was a manager was fantastic when showing me around the store giving a wonderful walkthrough, i was impressed with how well kept the store was.I would also like to thank the pink hair'd woman who greeted me and proceeded to share some of her dogs favorite goodies!! Everyone in the store I came into contact with were very helpful, and all had high spirits!! I'm in disbelief at the previous reviews and have to say, I think they may be referencing a different location.10/10 experience, Franklin loved his treats she recommended, i enjoyed shopping around the store. “Awesome pet store that packs a lot into a smaller space than the larger retail pet stores. One wonderful thing I noticed when going to purchase a Betta fish, the Betta's for sale are all in individual tanks with decor, foliage, heaters, and air. The only time your fish will be in a clear container is when you transport it home. Contrast that to what I notice at the big nation wide retailers where the Betta's on sale live perpetually in a clear container with no care for their well being whatsoever.”
