“We have 2 geckos and that means we buy crickets OFTEN we had trouble finding them unless we wanted poor cared crickets they would die within 24 hours Sooo we looked around and found Feeders the crickets there stay alive much much longer and are better quality! Not to mention the Staff is absolutely the friendliest! They go beyond to make your experience great! Plus we bathe our dog there as well! We love it! Highly Recommend!”

“We love our Petland Pup, Riley! Petland is more expensive than going to a breeder. But we found a few things worth it. First, we had no idea what type of dog we wanted (or if we wanted a dog rather than a cat), but we described the personality we want. Trey was able to tell us which pup matched that description, and he was spot on. Second, the three-year guarantee is great not necessarily because we’re banking on something happening to Riley, but because we’re more certain that something won’t if Petland will have to make up for it if it does. We also really benefited from the free vet visit, as we may have procrastinated on the first visit without that offering. Third, they gave great tips like not using puppy pads, and they provided great resources with our package. Like we wouldn’t have thought to necessarily buy treats, shampoo, a crate, etc. immediately. So while we later bought new things like a play pen, it was great to go home with the basics. The puppies are not potty trained, so I’d just watch many videos on crate training to prepare. We’re still figuring that one out a few weeks later.”

“I came in recently to grab some dog food, treats, etc. the tall skinny man who I believe was a manager was fantastic when showing me around the store giving a wonderful walkthrough, i was impressed with how well kept the store was.I would also like to thank the pink hair'd woman who greeted me and proceeded to share some of her dogs favorite goodies!! Everyone in the store I came into contact with were very helpful, and all had high spirits!! I'm in disbelief at the previous reviews and have to say, I think they may be referencing a different location.10/10 experience, Franklin loved his treats she recommended, i enjoyed shopping around the store. “As a pup mom of two this is a go to one stop shop. I have used their grooming as well as purchased many items from the store. I have not used the vet located inside the store so no comments. The do have a satellite adoption center for Lexington Humane Society (at the back) as well as the Paris Animal Shelter (on the right side of the store. (Days depending) They also have some unique animals such as birds and reptiles. Service is always friendly and they have reasonable prices. I have volunteered at the Lexington Humane Society Satellite (Everyday Adoption Center at PetSmart in Hamburg) in the store and the employees were obviously very caring and loving towards the animals. Personal comment: Adopt don't shop.”

“I went to MVP today and picked up my regular dog food. The store was so clean and orderly , they have moved things around to give you a wide open experience. My first thought was it didn't smell like a pet store. Smelled like any other really clean retail store (no chorax smell ). Animals of all kinds, in clean surroundings. Would not hesitate to by an animal or food here. All well taken care of, it shows they care.”

“Bought our Sheepadoodle puppy, Maui, from Parade of Puppies in Lexington. She is the best dog we've ever had. Like one of our kids and extremely smart. She was very easy to train and is very healthy. Everywhere we take her, people want to pet her. So happy we were able to find her. The owner even agreed to meet me after hours so I could see her.”
