“I cannot recommend VWC enough. I drive an hour and a half to get here and it’s worth every second! I struggled with finding a reliable vet when I first moved to KY and after a few undesirable experiences at a previous vet, I decided to take a chance and try out VWC and it was the best decision I could’ve made! My dogs can be quite dramatic and sensitive, but at VWC they literally pull me through the door and behind the desk to see the wonderful front desk ladies who have spoiled them rotten with love and cookies from the very first time we set foot in the building. The vets are all so incredibly kind and patient with my goofy mutts and are always very attentive to their needs and proper care. They always let them go at their own pace with lots of kind words, encouragement and cookies! I trust them 1000% with my babies and I’m so grateful to have found them!”

This is the second time you have saved Luca, and I still find it hard to comprehend how someone could endure what he went through the first time. The memory of him being tortured and set on fire will forever haunt me.Yet, your unwavering dedication and skill brought him back from such unimaginable pain. all y'all believed in him when it seemed all hope was lost, and for that, I will be eternally grateful.
This time, I brought him in for what I thought was a minor issue, completely unaware of the deeper problems looming beneath the surface. y'alls keen eye and thorough approach not only addressed my concerns but also discovered critical issues with his spleen and gallbladder. It’s remarkable how your team caught these serious conditions in time to prevent what could have been catastrophic for him.

“I cannot express enough how truly incredible Dr. Alford and her entire team at LVR are! After our Labrador, Colonel, suffered a herniated disc that left him with paralyzed back legs, we were devastated and unsure of what the future would hold. We rushed him in for an emergency hemilaminectomy with a prognosis that wasn’t very promising. “Our family has trusted this veterinary hospital for many years, and they continue to exceed every expectation. We recently had our puppy spayed and the level of compassion, professionalism, and communication we received was absolutely outstanding. They treated our fur baby like she was their own.

“I really love this place for all of my basic pet needs. It was time for my cats to receive their annual physical and updated shots. They have rooms that are specific to cats and dogs but treats for both in all rooms. In the cat room they have calming spray that you can spritz around their carriers to help relax them. Both the techs and the vets were incredibly kind and efficient. They worked to sooth the cats and distract them while the shots were being given. I will return here for future visits. Side note: they have a sign in the lobby about being kind to employees and the fact that they have to have a sign like that is sad. If you aren't thrilled with them, act like a grown up and go somewhere else. It's not ok to abuse the employees who showed up to take care of animals.”
“Dr. Sheets and the whole team were absolutely amazing. They listened to everything I said and Dr. Sheets was able to explain what was going on with a ton of knowledge and made it simple for me. He also was very honest about all of my options. They treated my girl very well. I have taken her to 6 vets since adopting her about the same things and this was the first time the vet did a full exam on her and really took their time explaining and listening to me. 10/10 experience!! I switched to them because of the prices(very reasonable), the staff is very nice and compassionate. when I had to put my dog down because of severe old age, they were understanding and compassionate. “My horse was sent here due to anterior enteritis. In the 5 days he was there the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. His doctor stayed in consistent communication with me and my vet. She was very patient with me and explained things until I fully understood what was happening with him. I am confident he received the best care possible. If you are considering Hagyard for your horses care, I would recommend them again and again. I can’t thank his team enough for the care and attention he received with them.”
“Since I have moved and relocated my senior cat and 2 senior dogs to Kentucky, I can attest of all 3 other vet clinics I have visited--Dr Clark and his staff are more personable and they empathize with my loved ones. Yesterday, I had to make an extreme and devastating decision to put my dog down. Dr Clark examines with so much compassion and honesty. It doesn't matter how long it takes--he is providing exceptional care for your loved ones. I live 30 minutes away and choose any other vet clinics but this one is where I will remain. His staff are very nice, professional, and caring as well.”
