08/06/26 I wanted to write a review and for some strange reason it’s not letting me but it’s OK. I’ll just add to this one.
Today Toto had an emergency visit. He had been very sick for a few days with really bad diarrhea. I called the office. They got him in immediately today. I can’t say that good things about this place. The ladies at the front desk when you walk in are so welcoming my little dog is a runner and they know this they help capture him one day when he got out and I’m so ever grateful to them, but they joke a lot about it and it just makes us feel welcome!!! But my Toto, for the last few days has had some G.I. issues and I have cried all day. I have been a total mess because he had just a little bit of blood in his stool the Dr. Coy Is absolutely amazing. I’m telling you she will take time with you. She has such compassion not just for the animal, but the animal owner.. She is so very thorough with your little fur baby. She genuinely genuinely cares for them. This is certainly her calling to become a vet. I thank God for her today and every time we go in there because she is so knowledgeable we’ve only been gone from there a few hours, thank God it wasn’t anything serious but my little Toto is already feeling somewhat better.. If you need a good place to take your fur babies and you care about them at all, Please consider the animal hospital of Nicholasville. I trust them with all Toto‘s care🩷🩷”

“We had to say bye to one of our beloved pups today and the staff there was amazing, respectful, and compassionate towards us during the procedure. Dr. McCaw(Will) took the time to explain the process and answer all of our questions even though his appts were solidly booked and every room full. Thank you Will and staff for everything you did to make this traumatic time for us a little bit easier to navigate 🙏🙏”

During a very difficult health struggle with my dear cat, I found Dr. Headley to not only be incredibly knowledgeable, but also extremely collaborative and compassionate. “The owner/Vet is a literal life saver, she saved our baby's life by doing an emergency surgery due to Pyometra(please please please get your animals spayed this comes on quick and kills fast) she did a 4000 surgery 250 plus a 200 after hours fee for the tech, she was quick efficient and her love of animals is so apparent. I don't want to think how things would have went if she wasn't there. She does ask you pay up front but with her doing things so cheap this is understandable. I would recommend her all day everyday.”

“Maybe dont go here if you are having serious problems with your Animal that requires expensive testing like the cat person. That was very unfortunate and sad. But I wouldnt count them out. They do know what they are doing and can handle a variety of vet needs for your pets. They are older. It is more like a home turned into a vet. They do have good pricing and are good with animals. I had a female pitbull have butt issues and pooping problems. He did what i couldnt lets just leave it at that. He had antibiotics and medicine as well for my pitty. I just got a new pittbull who is expressing skin irritation. This is the vet i am bringing him to for a check up 10000%. These people are great and I am estatic they are still around!”

“My dog fell quite ill on a Friday and they were able to see me the next day. From the front desk, to the vet tech, to the vet, all staff was extremely welcoming and attentive to my concerns and my dogs needs. I dropped him off at around 10:00am and was able to pick him up and make a treatment plan by 2:30pm. It’s a week later and my dog is back to normal and doing well. Thank you Banfield for taking care of my best friend.”
