Hello, I rented a vehicle through Avis on Crittenden dr in Louisville KY, on the 5th of February, partnership with Uber, I paid $309, the 1st wk, $327, the 2nd wk, and $334, the 3rd wk , ending a fraudulent contract, with a " 0"balance, at pick up the vehicle was dirty & fuel was at less than a quarter, I rented the car to drive passengers for Uber, Avis repeated assured me the vehicle Documents were valid but won't give me a copy to send to Uber for verification, turns out Uber found the issue the 3 rd week, The Silver 2021 Toyota RAV4 with Florida license plates, that I had keys for, and made payments on was not Registered, the registration expired in 2022,Because it is such a Major issue,I lost income by unknowingly operating, and making payments on a rental contract that was not valid, I lost income again because I couldn't make up, the rental cost or any income over that because Uber could not legally allow me to drive passengers for 14 of the 21 days I parked it on the lot on the evening of the 25th, on the 26th I got my receipt showing a zero balance only to my surprise they charged my debit card on the 2th of March $600.00 putting my PNC Rental car only account at -:$534.00, I was also charged a late fee, on a invalid rental contract , which I seldom drove thinking Uber was at fault , Uber found the problem then I stopped listening to Avis , I brought the car back and the next morning brought the keys back to Avis and ended this fiasco by thinking I had to sign another illegal contract to stop the charges, although the attendant didn't say anything except he would take care of it, then 2dys later In stead of a refund of good faith considering, If I were pulled over for any reason, I could have been charged with operating a unregistered vehicle illegally, I could have been fined, or even arrested. Because I unknowing was issued a fraudulent Avis rental contract.I sent verification copies, vehicle type, dates contract numbers and amended ending receipt records along with Uber support statements that show I was unable to use the Avis rental for failure to provide registration & insurance documents.they were 2yrs expired with FL Plates Along with bank statements and pictures of the fuel gauge on the 5th of February.After contacting Avis they said they didn't quite understand what I wanted and apologized for the inconvenience.Because I incurred such a Major Inconvenience concerning the rental, the loss of expected income that would have covered the rental and part of my monthly income commitments, along with the still outrageous over charged inconvenience of the negative balance.All because of my needing a rental to work with Uber, but unknowingly, and illegally obtaining a Fraudulent, Avis Rental car,I have asked Avis to be in good faith, and good business practice, to REIMBURSE and RETURN ALL PAYMENTS MADE PERTAINING TO THIS MATTER OF THE INVALID, INCONVENIENT, PROBLEMATIC ,COSTLY, FRAUDULENT RENTAL CAR AGREEMENT, THAT AVIS HAS OUT ME.I SENT ALL THE INFORMATION I HAVE AND HAVE NOT GOTTEN A RESPONSE.IF AFTER AVIS HAS LOOKED INTO MY SITUATION AND I DON'T GET REIMBURSED.I WILL HAVE TO GET AN ATTORNEY, TO SPEAK ON MY BEHALF.THANK YOU ALL , FOR JUST LISTENING,THANK YOU.. TRIED TO TURN IN CAR AT 5:30 they're supposed to close at 6:00(no body there)Called their number, not very helpfull.Very disappointed

Set up a reservation for an Uber rental - called just before visiting to pick up the car and was told that there aren’t any Uber cars available and that their inventory isn’t tied to Uber in any way - fortunately I made that call before visiting.

Absolutely shocking experience. I’m a preferred member and have been for years. I had a car rental and called to let them know my flight was delayed. The app showed a car that wasn’t in the lot. Two other people were in their car but couldn’t exit the gate with the QR code, unless they wanted to wait 6 hrs. I called the desk seven times during and after business hours and no one answered. The National number couldn’t help. I missed a critical medical operation on a family member. I may never do business with this company again. I especially won’t use this Avis location.

Poor service. I was told thehcwill honor my debit card, just $300 hold, but after arriving, they only take major credit card. Clueless employees. I could not even cancel and try with a different credit card.

The worst nasty people worked there I wonder where they find this people rude and lazy I never seen on my life the worst nothing change they have 2 star on Google and still worse should be getting better !!!!

Well if you drive for Uber do not go to this place unless you somehow get a hold of them because when you call their number they don't never answer also I went there to get an Uber car and they don't have no working cars they had some of them had to be inspected and had not been yet and some needed maintenance I wasted a trip from Lexington to Louisville to get no Uber car.

Paid ahead for large SUV to get my daughter to college, months in advance, they had no large SUV for me. Left high and dry. They were not apologetic. Had to fight for refund. DO NOT BOOK WITH AVIS/budget, you will most likely not get your car and they will not care. Melissa was very rude.

NEVER USE AVIS!!!! We went to get our car that we NEED to get to my daughter (not with us) to college and they didn't have it!! We had the reservation for months!!! They tell us they have another car somewhere else they are holding so we go, before we get there they gave someone else the car!!! We are stranded and don't know how we will get to college now!!!! . We were only trying to figure out why they didn't have our car and they totally didn't care. Mellisa is the employee who was the rudest, she rolled her eyes and dropped a few cuss words infront of my little children who then started crying after she raised her voice

Do yourself a favor and run far away. Preferably to Enterprise or literally any other car rental business.My family and I rented a van from here for our drive down to Tampa.1. The van was completely filthy. It had not been cleaned at all. There was gum stuck under the door slide. Pieces of corn in the cup holders. Candy stuck on the Windows. And pistachio shells all over the floor. Also found someones used acrylic dirty nail in the backseat. Not to mention the abundance of supply of cheez its and trash in the trunk.2. Honestly im suprised the van made it there and back. It was idling SO BAD and the check engine light was on. It also notified us it needed an oil change. If I had to put money on it , I would guess there was little to no oil in the vehicle.This van was the only option they had to fit our passengers. And they made sure to let us know there were zero other options. After preparing over 1200 dollars for our trip and being on a timeline, we would have definitely took it back and requested a refund.Customer service finally answered after being on hold for nearly 3 hours on the drive down. Then they hung up. We ended up on the phone with them multiple times during our "vacation" to deal with this mess. Just don't do it.

I wish I could give this a negative 10 stars these ppl suck.0 customer service was double charged twice 2 weeks in a row and then told I haven't paid them in a month. On top of all that I was getting charged $95 dollars on top of what I owed. I will never deal with Avis ever in life period point plank. Btw after wrecking my bank account I turned in the vehicle only to get $800 back mysteriously from nowhere after I sent cooperate a pic of the first time I was double charged of their own computer screen saying I was in the clear. Hmmm

I'm being very generous with 1 star. The women that work in this office is rude, nasty and really think they can just do whatever they want to do to anyone that comes in that door. They really should not be allowed to work in any kind of public setting.They try to over charge you, they lie and say they will give you something and they don't and when you catch them their lie or mistake then all of a sudden they say "we are human". Well how come when they think you lied or made a mistake then they will try and destroy you because they have the power.DONT USE THIS LOCATION! THEY WILL GIVE YOU DIRTY CARS!! AND IF YOU DO GET A CAR FROM HERE YOU SHOULD TAKE IT STRAIGHT TO A MECHANIC AND MAKE SURE ITS EVEN SAFE RO DRIVE!!! ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARDS BECAUSE THERE IS GONNA BE MORE CHARGES RHEN WHAT THEY SAY!!!!
