About Dollar Car Rental - Louisville International Airport
Dollar Car Rental offers affordable airport car rental options, including discounted rates and the ability to save by pre-paying. The process is often quick and easy, with friendly and professional staff providing great customer service. Customers report receiving free upgrades to SUVs for events like weddings or simply as a courtesy, contributing to a pleasant and satisfactory rental experience. While some locations may have brief waits if only one counter person is working, having a reservation typically speeds up the process significantly. The company also provides premium rentals at affordable prices through its Prestige Collection.
However, a significant point of frustration involves toll fees. Customers have reported receiving unexpectedly high bills where the company's administrative fees for tolls vastly exceed the actual toll cost, which can be upsetting. Despite this, many reviewers indicate they would rent from Dollar again, suggesting not to be scared away by negative reviews as the overall service and value can be good.
