“Best train store in town. They have almost everything you could possibly need for any gauge train. If by some chance they do not have it they will order for you. All of the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and will give advise if asked. The only problem that I have noticed is that every time I go in there I almost always buy something.”
“We loved HobbyTown! The squishy selection is HUGE and the staff was so nice and helpful. My niece absolutely loved it and could’ve stayed in there forever. I’m not a squishy fan but it is cool how they let people try out and test squishys before purchasing (there’s a bowl up front with them) We’ll definitely be back when we visit KY again!”

“Just putting it out there that I'm not a very crafty person, but my wife is. She does a lot of sewing and knitting, which is probably over 95% of the reasons I've ever gone to Michaels. I think I wandered into Michaels once to find some scissor or maybe a centering ruler, but there's never much of a reason for me to go in by myself.
It's not uncommon for us to make multiple trips to Michaels when my wife has a project going on. Thread. Binding. Fabric. This little doo-dad or that thingamajiggy. Michaels usually has what she needs to finish/enhance what she's working on.
The selection is usually pretty good and the staff is always helpful. There are more than a few times that some sections are pretty empty. At the same time, there are boxes laying around that, I assume, is newly received merchandise that has yet to be put out.
They recently installed self-checkouts at this location. I (me, Jim) is not a fan of self-checkout...and that's all I have to say about that.
If it's not in stock you can order what you need via the website and (I believe) have it shipped to the store.
The store is usually pretty tidy and well maintained and the staff is friendly and doesn't mind taking you to what you're looking for.”
“Im not one to post reviews but, I sold a handful of highly desired ultra modern baseball cards and got exactly what i expected. They gave me a fair price and i left completely satisfied.
I appreciate the great customer service and experience. I remember all of the smaller card shops in the 90s that faded away in Louisville over time, were lucky to have this business in our market for trading cards. It’s a unique experience”
“Michael's is a place I go for some of my beading projects. But I have noticed that they don't carry as many of their solid color strands, or tubes. But they are the only place I have been able to finds zodiac charms.”
