“All of the workers are so nice and helpful if I have ever needed it. I love the selection of clothes they have and the records. They also have some cool nicknacks and scrapbooking stuff, if you are into that. There clothes are not super expensive, and I have found some really nice classic pieces for my closet here!”
“Great selection and the owner is very kind and accommodating. I showed up a couple minutes after their holiday closing hours and she still let me in to shop while she finished closing up! Hidden gem.”
“The absolute BEST thrift store. I just moved back to Louisville and couldn't wait to shop here again. Went today and found the most fabulous deals. Such a fun place to shop with incredible prices. Huge plus the proceeds go to animals. My favorite place!!!!!!!”
“Had such a terrific experience here! Found some adorable thrifts at great prices. I love the vibe and that it helps my community. So excited to see genderworx take off!”
“I defy you to find a better thrift store in a 20 mile radius. The lovely gentleman who runs the store is just about the most helpful and delightful shop attendant that I have ever met. Prices are more than reasonable and honestly, it's just a pleasant place to be. I'll be back for sure . Mrs. Hart❤️”

“Love this store when I worked downtown, but it is now permanently closed: “While we may consider another retail location in the future, customers are greatly encouraged to visit our other two locations: 2217 Hikes Ln. at Bardstown Road and 10280 Shelbyville Rd. at Dorsey Lane,” said Patrick Watts, SVDP’s Director of Stores.”
“All the people complaining about the "don't steal/move stuff around" signs makes me wonder if they've ever worked retail/customer service. The theft signs are almost all by the little jewelry pieces and the moving sign is in a basement full of breakable, organized items. It's not unreasonable, nor is it even unusual for thrift shops.
On a nicer note: There are a ton of neat items! Cool boxes and furniture pieces and candlestick holders were some of my favorites. It's admittedly not as trendy as some thrift shops, however it's way more reasonably priced and not lacking in neat finds. The man at the counter was very nice and let me give his dog a treat. I would recommend for people who like decor and kitchenware and furniture.”

“Great place for any adults of all ages to get resources and help for different reasons in the community. Helps you further your education, career coaches, classes to get certain certificates, financial resources, food and shelter resources for anyone. They can help you in any area of your life that you could ever dream of! I appreciate this place so much!”
“I recommend it... Excellent ?. There are always many things at a good price. Furniture varies in price and variety. Every time I go there are different models. Customer service is very good. Even though I don't speak English naturally, a very kind lady makes an effort to speak to me in Spanish. I like to go to this place that is close to home to clear my mind.”
“One would think that Goodwills would be the same no matter where you were in the country however that is not true. There are regional differences just as there are regional differences in selection of items. This one is large and had a good selection of different things to buy. But as with any thrift store you never know what you're going to find. My friend found a wonderful stuff toy that he'd been looking for and I found two folding camping tables which I really have been looking for. The prices for most things are very reasonable although there are a few things that were way overpriced. You would think by now people would understand that Greenbrier International automatically means the Dollar tree. And that things from there are generally only a dollar and a quarter. However sometimes people see Dollar tree things and think they're worth more and price them that way and so they end up costing more than they should. Anyway pricing people at thrift stores figure this out!”
“My favorite thrift store to go to when I want to buy business clothes! It's always clean and well organized. Their prices are a little high, but I guess it's worth it for the brands.”
“I Bought A Couple Of Board Games Here And I Think That The Nearly New Shop Is Definitely Worth Going To. The Only Problem I Have With It Is That They Close So Early.”

“Limited selection and kind of high prices for a thrift store that gets their entire stock for free, but that's Goodwill for you. Employees are always lovely.”
“Great place to find bargains. You never know what you may find in there. I wish I still lived in the area. I would shop there more often if I did. Great friendly staff. They keep the store clean and organized”

“So it's a little scary and overwhelming when you first go in... it's not a manicured thrift experience BUT I have found so many cute things for my house there. They have so many things for a person just starting out as a home owner. Everything has been reasonably priced. There's a lot of furniture, too. I also brought in my dog and nobody seemed bothered at all which is always a plus for me.”
“I was able to purchase a brand new pair of American Eagle jeans, and a Keurig 2.0 (very gently used) for $20. The retail value of the jeans alone is $45. I know people like to make snap judgements on Goodwill's pricing, but I'd say I got a really good deal ?. The store was clean, well stocked, and fairly priced. Their employees were friendly as well!”
“This place is so beautiful! I believe the owner has a raggedy Ann and Andy collection and it’s just so gorgeous and cute when you all in the front doors! As a raggedy Ann collector I feel comfortable just by walking in those doors. Their place is clean and clear in every aisle. They have such unique items and funny places that they put their raggedy Ann’s and Andy’s! My short answer is, this place is fun and beautiful to come into.”
“I’m visiting from Louisiana where we have 3 Goodwill bin locations. The staff were super nice. I was there for over two hours and found a few things. 95% of the clothing was winter clothes. Kinda bummed I couldn’t find more spring/summer items. A lot of the items were stained, torn or just worn out. Maybe I hit it at a bad time. I’ll give it another try before heading home.”
“I've been to most of the Goodwill's but now I only go to this one. It's the best and the people who work there are always friendly and always helpful.”
“I love blazers for work, I love Goodwill on Brownsboro Road. I found 10 Blazers that fit me size 12 and 14.All under $100 for designer brands and gently worn Blazers! Will definitely return and I will keep donating my bigger clothes to the Goodwill.”
“To the sales lady who worked the morning of 12-26-22 went OVER & BEYOND her job to help me find my lost cell phone. My upmost respect to her & everything you do! God Bless you all!”

“Took our first trip here today and had a great experience. Staff was kind and welcoming. They had a great selection of furniture, light fixtures, paint and more. Will definitely be back.”
“Good place. Excellent staff!! When I tried the clothes on, I came home with a burning sensation on my skin and a sore throat. They should verify the products they use for washing or fumigation.”
“Scored a pair of $200 Ariat men's boots for $9.99. Some of the stuff is priced higher than other Goodwill locations in the area, but this spot definitely has some of the best hidden finds. This is usually my first stop when I'm out looking for high end items.”
“Bought two filing cabinets here for a great price! Everyone was so nice and they even loaded them up for us. Walked around the store and they have great gently used furniture, highly recommend this place for any used furniture.”

“This place isn't as bad as lots of people are making it out to be. I went I'm here with the expectation that everything would be overpriced and the employees would be rude, but my experience was the opposite. I will say it was dimly lit, but I was still able to see, which is all that matters. People need to keep in mind that each booth's prices are set by different people. I was able to find some amazing deals such as a Bible for $0.75, a hardback dictionary for $0.50, and a wooden bowl set for only $5.00. The cashier was very polite. It wasn't very messy either. The main criticism I have is there isn't as much to look at, compared to other Peddlers Malls. I personally didn't use the bathroom, but I overheard another person tell their company they used the bathroom, so I'm assuming they're back open. Overall I had a good time and will be back.”
“Pretty decent selection of clothes. I wouldn't really come here for furniture or houseware. The girls at the counter were friendly and helpful. You can find some great stuff and would recommend checking them out. Overall it was a good experience.”
“Tickled Pink has the best owners. They are friendly, helpful, and remember their customers' preferences. They have new stuff, old stuff, MCM, and true antiques and vintage. You'll find Grandma's favorite dessert bowls, Mom's pressed tin, and the replacement canister you've been looking for year after year. It's all right here! But, stay away from the antique jewelry because I'm dropping by to get my fix over the weekend!”
