“I have rented from numerous Uhaul providers and seem to always run into issues like the wrong equipment provided, no supplies offered, poor customer service, and trucks in disrepair. This provider was none of those things. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The gentleman I originally rented from went far above and beyond. Then, when I called to extend the reservation, the person I spoke with over the phone was just as accommodating. I will never rent from another provider. Customer for life here!! Thank you!!”
“Yesterday I needed to move a large piece of furniture for my daughter. I called the Middletown location and talked with Tim Mobley the Middletown Manager.
Tim was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Tim put me in one of their Vans, which was perfect for what I had to move. I was so impressed with how clean the van was, it was low mileage, got good gas mileage and the ride was really good.
In my opinion Tim and Sternberg Truck & Van Rental don't have an equal in the truck and van rental business. They are the standard for all their competitors to reach for.

The two guys I spoke with on the phone were incredibly helpful, walking me through things to try/troubleshooting before coming out to look at the RV. I ended up being able to fix the issue myself with their guidance. I really appreciate this business and them taking the time to help me solve the problem. Any future issues I will be calling them. “Promised a dually and got a smelly heavy duty. I mean B.O. really bad B.O stench in the cloth seats… on a 13 hr round trip. These guys are usually awesome, but really let me down this time.
Update! Manager squared me away big time. They explained reasons and more importantly compensated issues.”

“Need to rent a truck, SUV or van? Look no further. THIS IS THE PLACE! I wish I could give them SIX stars.I needed to rent a truck to move just a few things but I needed a truck quickly. I went online to get an estimate and received a very prompt reply from the location. I had a question and they were even able to answer that online and recommend the perfect vehicle. I made a reservation at 9 o’clock in the evening and picked up my truck rental before 10 o’clock the next day. The truck was clean. The process was smooth and easy. Tim, who had responded via email was the gentleman in charge that day and was so friendly and helpful.This was such a positive experience, and we have had several negative ones with other companies recently. We will be back here often and for every van or truck rental in our future. I highly recommend Sternberg!”

“Great experience! I was blown away with how Lanley took care of me when I needed a trailer on short notice. He worked with me better than any corporate type Uhaul location ever could, truly appreciated. Quick stop off of the Interstate, and then right back on, perfect location if you need a trailer to head into Indiana and back.”
“Davie was friendly. We had a few issues with our reservation but we worked them out. We had reserved the truck for 24 hours because we didn't know how long it was going to take us. Upon returning the truck we were charged $20 gas charge. Yes, the owner told us to return on a 1/2 tank however, it wasn't a 1/2 tank when we got it. It was under the line. When we put gas in the truck, it was back at the line, if not a little more.Throughout my years of reserving trucks, I've NEVER, that I can recall been charged for the gas. I always put it back were it was to avoid that fee. So we had put $15 in the tank and was charged another $20 on top of that.Also I've never had the owner return a truck for me. I always handle that when I return it but I did not get the chance to do that. I am thankful that I took pictures before to have a documentation.Other than that, we had a good experience at this location.”
“This is a family-owned business look like they've been in the neighborhood for many years they have great service although they couldn't supply what I needed today but they did help me with information so they will do what they can do to help you whatever is within their power to do it's a good shot you should go by they have a lot of rental equipment there.”
“After having a horrible experience with another truck rental company, I was in a crunch and needing a moving truck the same day. I should've called Sternberg FIRST! None of the big name truck rental company's had a truck available on such short notice, but Sternberg Truck Rental did! Not only did they have a truck the size we needed but they were also super friendly and extremely professional! Affordable too! I actually don't live very close to this truck rental but I will always go here from now on. I promise you, it's worth the drive! They know how to handle their customers and they truly provide excellent service. No other rental company can compare to how great they are.”

“I’ve been cleaning up the wreckage of my past and needed an actual “SPACE” to do that. I walked into this specific U-Haul location and was treated incredibly. I was haven’t the single worst day in awhile and KEVIN provided legendary service. He didn’t leave anything out! He went the extra mile and I’m blown away at the customer service in such a tough business. He was slammed and treated made me a priority. I highly recommend them, 24 hour acesss, clean and pristine units. Kevin even had the truck started and the AC going when he walked me out to do my check in! I was truly WOWED!! Hannah is the manager and she’s solid and keeps the main thing the main thing! GO and visit just to expierence their EPIC place! Thank you from the middle of my heart!”

“I definitely recommend. If you have fragile items to ship, they’re where you go. It’d be sweet if they were closer to the airport, though. I dropped off about a dozen fragile items to ship home to myself because I don’t trust the airlines. I was in and out of the store in maybe 5 minutes, it was extremely fast & straightforward and the price was reasonable. My items showed up at my home near D.C. exactly 48 hours later. Unfortunately, I had 1 item break in transit but I have to admit the packing was great. I called them to see if anything can be done, and the answer was ‘no,’ and while that isn’t what I wanted to hear, it is what it is. If I could only ding half-a-star for the broken item I would. Again: I strongly recommend Fragile Pack if you need fragile glass items shipped.”

“Great Customer Service. I would not recommend Uhaul Morat Ave in Lyndon. General Manager failed to show up and open up for rental reservations. Had to travel further away for a rental in J-town. Inconvenience as ten men waited for over and hour for the Uhaul truck to arrive.”
