I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff here; however, maintenance and upkeep are lacking.
The self-serve kiosk (critical for those who work during normal postal hours and may need service outside that window) is frequently down. It has been down for over a month for the most recent stretch. There has been a sign on the front door addressing an issue with the door for over a year now.
This could very well be an issue with federal funding, but just as easily could be an issue with management at this branch. I have no way to verify the root cause, and I'll assume positive intent on the part of the staff, but it's frustratingly and consistently not working.
For an agency saddled with debt, you would think you would want to maximize the most efficient and least labor-intensive way in your building to collect money

So much incompetency, playfulness, gossiping and childishness in front desk of this post office in Bill Town. Serious work is needed by real management at this particular location.

Go to any other post office than here. I’ve tried coming here multiple times for my daughter’s passport. For context, I have to schedule an appointment ahead of time. When I get there, they tell me they can’t do the passport and waste my time. Even though they have my info to contact me and say they can’t do the appointment.

-100 stars. I’m a single mom of two and get my children’s medication delivered. THEY NEVER EVEN TRY TO DELIVER IT!!!! Always says “customer request package be held at post office” which I have NEVER requested. Now it’s Saturday and my child won’t have her medication till Monday!!!!!

Service is horrible!!!! I went in to get my passport done, and online it says we can walkin on Tuesdays. Which i did and got there pretty early. Had my photos ready, application ready and all the necessary paperwork done. All he needed to do was watch us sign, take the payments and we will be on our way. He refused to help us and told us to go to chicago if we wanted to do our passports. A bunch of bullshit if you ask me.

Why do all my packages make it to Louisville in about 3 days and then it's about 5 days of my package driving all over town? Been waiting for a package that has been scheduled for delivery twice now and all they do is keep moving it around Louisville. Pathetic group of people running the show over there.

I DROPPED MY MAIL OFF TO THE JEFFERSONTOWN POSTOFFICE, INSIDE THE MAILSLOT. MY MAIL WAS TAMPERED WITH AND SOMEONE "WASHED" MY CHECK AND ADDRESSED MY CHECK TO THEMSELVES FOR $800.00. I HAVE FILED A POLICE REPORT AND MY BANK IS INVESTIGATING. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT AT THE BRANCH AGAIN.

The mail person is a joke. They keep saying that our mailbox is blocked by a car. The car is parked 20 feet away from the mailbox. It's not even close. But this new mail person is a joke.
