“First use. Towing recommended by another shop. Why go elsewhere then? Great fair priced tow. Got all work done and very polite, patient, tried to trouble shoot over the phone to avoid paying for something simple. When you go there and you see all the cars and businesses and local establishments using them. You know. This is the place!!! All types and years of cars from classic to everyday cars to trucks and luxury cars(probably of course out of warranty). They can help!”

“I had a check engine light problem due to a faulty gas cap. I brought in my car to get the light reset and Mike was so nice. He check for other issues, made sure my new gas cap was on properly, and reset for me just out of his own courtesy. The shop looks a bit sketchy but it's just a man doing his own honest work. I will be going back for any future maintenance.”

“Recently had a series of unfortunate events resulting in severe damage to one of the axles of our 26 ft travel trailer. Although covered thru insurance. All companies contracted with them refused service. Being a Westsider and having previous great experiences with Schaffer's, I gave them a call. Schaffer's put me in touch with their heavy recovery driver whom got us home safe and sound and no further damage to the trailer. “I hit some debris in the road and lost tire pressure. The wheel started making an odd noise. I managed to limp home and the next morning I called the location on Hamilton Avenue, since it is closest to my house. I phoned and left a detailed message, waited an hour, and called again. *crickets* So I called the West Fork location - where Zack picked up immediately! He checked their inventory to be certain they had a tire that would fit my Mini Cooper. When I arrived he showed me the two tires that would be the best fit, and recommended the one with the most tread. Because it was not an exact match, he swapped out the rear tire so the odd one would not affect the car's handling. I was out of there in less than twenty minutes. (I opted for a used tire because I plan to sell the car soon and don't see a reason to spend the money on new tires.) What great service!”

“I recently had an issue with a corroded fuel line on my truck and sought estimates from three different repair shops. The first shop in Latonia kept my truck overnight and quoted me $1,000 for the repair. Unsatisfied with the price, I decided to try Smith's on Main Street after they mentioned they could likely beat that quote. Unfortunately, they charged me $53 to inspect the truck, only to confirm what I already knew, and then quoted me a much higher price of $1,600 for the repair.
Finally, I went to Ludlow Chevron, where I had an outstanding experience. They assessed the issue in about 15 minutes, quoted a very reasonable $585, and even offered a flexible payment plan to help me stay on the road. Their professionalism and customer care impressed me, and I will definitely be returning to them in the future”
