Went in this store to get several items. Nothing was organized. No helpful staff. Self checkout is a joke. No registers open. Only choices was to go to the return desk or leave the cart. Guy there was more helpful than the one at self checkout but seemed put out. Will not go there again or to any other Lowe's store if they can't have at least 1 register open. Menards or home Depot will now have my business.

I was at the Lowe's in Madisonville this morning I had about $100 worth of stuff in my cart went to check out, there were NO Live Cashier's on duty, the Lady overseeing the self check out said that I had to use them. I left my stuff in the cart, and left. I am not going to use a self check out ! The sad part is there were lot's of employees there walking around the store,it will be a long time before I return, I will shop at stores that have people to check me out !

I gave a 1 star review to this store but a 5 star review to Both Chris and Tyee for trying to fix the issue resulting from incompetence of the sales pro who supposedly took my order twice at least and it still was wrong . He left several items off my order and neglected to tell me that one item I needed was going to have to be ordered and not available. When I went to pick up my order, it was not ready at the time they said it would be in fact it set me behind schedule over an hour.I had people waiting on me at the receiving end. This whole ordeal, and I mean ordeal was very unprofessional and will make me rethink shopping here again. I would rather drive 45 minutes to menards or home depot. However Tyree and Chris were exceptional in their attention to me and the issue at hand. They are the reason I did not just cancel the entire order.

We went here to get wood only to find out that an eight foot 1x10 pine board costed just around as much as a 1x10 12 foot board at Menards. Their prices were way too high for boards that weren't even as high quality as you would expect.

For the most part this store is great!!! But their employee (Mr. Nathaniel, long hair with a beard) was very rude!!!! I do not work at Lowes and I will not use the self checkout!!! He wanted to put his two cents in and was interrupting my exchange with the guy who was checking me out. I do not appreciate it. He is there to be a professional for the business of Lowe's; not a pessimistic person towards customers. Hopefully this will get resolved soon!!!!

I went to get pre cut wood for shelving and the employee that waited on me was so nice and courteous, and it was a pleasure. Also the cashier was very courteous and thanked me for shopping at Lowes.
