Coffee Tree Books is a hidden gem and a big city gem in a small town. It features a very unique layout as a converted old theater, offering space for book clubs and meetings. The store has an excellent and eclectic selection of books, with good prices and some super sale books. It also provides plenty of extras, including a yarn shop, knitting supplies, snacks, and gifts. The staff are very courteous, helpful, and offer great advice. Orders placed are usually in within a week.
Very neat place, a must see if you’re visiting Morehead or have company visiting for the first time. Coffee and food is yummy, they have gluten free cookies that are good (s’mores is the best flavor) and the book store is so cool!
