The kind of place you go to and talk thoughtfully about your gun needs. Walked in, knowing very little, and walked out, relaxed and informed. Will never go anywhere else.

Bought a Howa 1500 in 7mm and wanted to tame it a bit…brought it here to have the barrel threaded and a muzzle brake made for it. Very happy with both the machining job and the recoil reduction. Made a significant difference at the range. If you’ve meticulously lapped your rings and installed a scope, I’d recommend removing before taking in, however, just to be safe.

I normally don't write reviews, but I was so impressed by Schlosser Gunsmithing Co. I felt inclined to!I had front skinner sights installed for my Henry rifle and the finished product was top notch. Ben was very friendly and personable and his communication through the whole process was concise. My experience was amazing and I am very happy with the quality of work and the turn around time. I would highly recommend reaching out to this company if you have any gunsmithing needs!

Brought in a perfectly functional vintage rifle that I had taken apart to clean and did not have the right know-how/tools to put back together while keeping tension on the magazine follower. Not my proudest moment sure, but nothing was damaged in disassembly and all parts accounted for, that was it. Was never given any estimate or phone call prior to a card in the mail that the gun was ready. Was charged 500$ because it "needed a lot of work" and all I got back was what I had in the first place.

Fair and Upfront about things! My Match 1911 pistol after 10 of thousands of rounds being put through it ended up getting cracking in the barrel. I ordered a new one and tried to fit it with no luck, So I called up Schlosser Gunsmithing Co and they said they work on fitting 1911 barrels.I took my gun and the new barrel to them and Ben was up from that they had a lot of work going on right now, I told him that It would be nice to have it before the next big match at the end of April, but not a deal breaker since I have a backup pistol that I can use for it, but if he can fit the barrel and do a general health check on it while they have it.I got it the day before the match, so I wasn't able to use it since I still had to break in the barrel, but the next few days afterwards I broke it in and it performs perfectly.I am happy with their work and will come to them again. Ben is very knowledgeable, and a very nice guy to work with.

I stopped by to have iron sights installed on a pistol. It required pressing the sights into existing dovetails. They wanted $100 to do this simple 15 minute task.I bought as sight tool on Amazon for $69 and did the work myself. Hell will freeze over before I go back there.

We searched and researched for some time to find someone to work on an antique firearm. We had these guys perform some moderate cosmetic restoration on a 1960-ish Holland & Holland side by side. Very please with the customer service, quality of work, and the turn-around time. Thanks, Guys! Ask for Ben!

My father and I have been customers of Schlosser Gunsmithing for a very long time, and there's a good reason. Ben is a pro who knows his stuff, and every time we've ever needed or wanted something he's exceeded expectations. I have bought, traded, sold, and upgraded a bunch of guns and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Quality work, fair prices, and great knowledge base to help answer any questions you have. 5/5! Thanks, Ben!
