Edit: after consulting with friends, I was made aware that I was over charged for parts. I was charged $300 for replacing 1 ignition coil. I found that a 4 pack online was $82. He did not replace all 4. I just want anyone to be aware that if you are not very car savy, they might take advantage of your lack of knowledge.”

“I had a check engine light problem due to a faulty gas cap. I brought in my car to get the light reset and Mike was so nice. He check for other issues, made sure my new gas cap was on properly, and reset for me just out of his own courtesy. The shop looks a bit sketchy but it's just a man doing his own honest work. I will be going back for any future maintenance.”

“Stephanie and Gary are amazing! They're friendly, honest, and provide quality work. Unfortunately, I don't have "before" pictures, but I hydroplaned and wrecked my brand new 2023 Subaru Forester. The entire front end was smashed, windshield shattered, and 3 of my tires had to be replaced. Thankfully it wasn't totalled. Gary performed a miracle and it honestly looks brand new again! “I hit some debris in the road and lost tire pressure. The wheel started making an odd noise. I managed to limp home and the next morning I called the location on Hamilton Avenue, since it is closest to my house. I phoned and left a detailed message, waited an hour, and called again. *crickets* So I called the West Fork location - where Zack picked up immediately! He checked their inventory to be certain they had a tire that would fit my Mini Cooper. When I arrived he showed me the two tires that would be the best fit, and recommended the one with the most tread. Because it was not an exact match, he swapped out the rear tire so the odd one would not affect the car's handling. I was out of there in less than twenty minutes. (I opted for a used tire because I plan to sell the car soon and don't see a reason to spend the money on new tires.) What great service!”

They answered right away and Gary was there within 10 minutes. He was able to get me out without any additional damage. Definitely will be saving their number for any other emergencies.”

“Recently had a series of unfortunate events resulting in severe damage to one of the axles of our 26 ft travel trailer. Although covered thru insurance. All companies contracted with them refused service. Being a Westsider and having previous great experiences with Schaffer's, I gave them a call. “Nothing like having your car give out on you on the highway in the middle of a rain storm. Every place I called had a lengthy wait time to get to me or stupid expensive. Came crossed fenders; they were there to get me in less than 20 min, priced considerably cheaper than other local ones I called, and even gave me a ride back to their shop to wait til someone could get me. They’re also a family owned business which was a nice surprise. Give your money to the family owned instead of those big corporate places that don’t care about you”
