They stock parts needed to repair household appliances. The big box stores don't want you to fix your fridge or air conditioner and don't stock common parts needed to make repairs.

My husband and I had to come here two days in a row to buy vinyl tubing, as we had severely underestimated the amount that we would need for the project we were working on. Both visits were most certainly a 5 star experience. We were greeted immediately as soon as we walked in the door, and every single staff member was so friendly and quick to offer their assistance. We were helped right away with no complaints, and they made sure we had everything we needed before assisting someone else. The staff is also very knowledgeable about whatever it is you may need. Even the cashier was very friendly and polite, and our wait time to check out was almost non-existent. The customer service here is unbeatable. We will most certainly come here again for our next home project! Thank you Great Lakes Ace for all of your help :)

I recently visited the Great Lakes Ace in Lexington, KY, and I was thoroughly impressed! This newer location, conveniently situated right by a Kroger, has an interesting layout that makes shopping enjoyable. The store is exceptionally well-stocked, ensuring I found everything I needed without any hassle. The friendly and helpful staff made my visit even better, offering assistance and knowledgeable advice. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here. I will definitely be back for all my hardware needs. Highly recommend this Great Lakes Ace location!

I went directly down there today when my pipes busted about 6 weeks ago during that big cold freeze we had, what froze mommas Maytag solid out there on the front porch. Maytag ain't never froze. I never heard such. Maytags the Chevy camaro of the clothes warshin bizniss. Can't tell me no different. I know about a Maytag. Now I went and cut the water on down urr at the road cause all mommas faucets are stuck open from all the fixerdent momma slangs all over the place when she's in there tryna git her teeth to hang right up on her gums. She gets to jawin with aunt bruce when they get coffee goin of a morning and lot of times her teeth'll fly plumb out. She don't like at so she lets at fixerdent gaum up the faucets so we just got to cuttin it on down at the road when we need a little water. Well it was mommas under arm warshin day today so I went and cut it on and I reckon it been busted up n under the house for bout right at 6 weeks since chin warshin day. But it weren't comin out none a them faucets so I clim up n under the house and commenced to tearin out all that old copper pipe out from under there cuz ain't no use for copper pipe on nothin besides a shine still. And thats smack dab what ima go in to do with it. Ill have to git me some corn to run. Anyhow. I figure it needed something more flexible like ever other house I done lived in..so I went down yunder to this place after what I needed. I figure mommas trailer is ever bit of 75 ft long and its got some extry storage sheds bilt off the ends of it and one that uncle Brenda ratchit strapped down on top of it and it had water run to it too. Sometimes we used it to warsh the baby possums off in when they got in the garbage room and stunk too bad. But if ye figure 75 ft and 2 sheds what's 20 ft long and the one on top that's ever bit of 25 ft across. Now if u figure right and add that up and count the hot tub out there and its water pipe I tore out plus the auto matik drive thru semi truck wash that my uncle Barry Anne put in behind here what I tore the water pipe off from. Cuz it'll all freeze too this yr and I know it. But when you use ye math calkylater and add them up and put it together all in one, I come down there to the ace hardwares and ordered 11 hunnert and 76 foot of regular green water hose to put back n under there for everthang to hook water back in, done the rite way. They looked at me and that feller told me some god awful big number of dollars and went to laffin like a loon. I don't know what kinda dust he was on but it weren't good I knowed he was a loon so I got the gawdurn hail on down the road and I believe ill take to the walmarks for all my hygiene producks like 14 hunnert foot of regular green water hose from now on. Aces is just after ye money and I don't thank the walmarks is like at, but I figure ill try to just run mommas Maytag off of it here at first and if she ends up needing to warsh her knees off again she can just bath up in the Maytag. At big Maytag can handle it. I seen a man one time put a live mountain lion in one and it went to buckin and a scratchin and a hollerin in that Maytag and by the time it quit that ol cat was clean as a baby's hindleg and he
Knowed he weren't no mAtch for no Maytag. MAytag is the chuck Norris of clothes warshin. But I weren't gonna by no hose off them downurr at the aces. Not even for a Maytag. Amen.

The employees are helpful, and this hardware store stocks a good selection of items needed for home maintenance. They even offer same-day service for sharpening the blade on a small lawnmower, at a great price!
